Are there items for 1 euros at this market and where would you find them? Postcards, keychains, magnets, or anything else for cheap. We have to buy for a lot of people and students and anything cheap there would help. Also, nice clear walking tour video! Thanks for anybody's help!
@@voyagers33 thank you so much for the quick reply. I am traveling to Athens in a few weeks and I was unsure if I should reschedule or book a hotel further from Syntagma Square.
@@nologic29 As an Athenian, it's really safe to travel and to be sincere protests happen over the course of the year for different topics. Politics, climate change, politics, taxes, armes etc. Just avoid Syntagma square when there are protests. But I wouldn't suggest a trip now, not because it's dangerous but because there are many strikes happening (for example today all the flights in all Greek airports were cancelled), or train strikes, metro strikes, which cause many inconveniences, especially if your hotel isn't near the historic areas
@@athenianmapper8346 yes I believe I read something about the unions striking today (March 16) but that is supposed to be only for today, right? The hotel I have booked is near most the historic sites. It is still a few weeks away so I'm hoping things improve by then.

How are the protests going over there? Safe to travel at the moment?
Sure. No violence, they just shout against Erdogan. They can not protest in Turkey they do it in Athens.

То, что показываете, НЕ блошиный рынок. Это обыкновенный рынок.
Ага. Это то, о чем я подумал, когда вошел, но в начале есть большая реклама, которая ныряет: "Flea Market"; «Блошиный рынок».
