Before I preffered Streamlabs for all the in built features and plugins + user friendly interface, but then I found out all of those plugins and even more are available for OBS studio as well and as OBS studio takes much less PC power than streamlabs, I'm now in team OBS Studio 💪😎

I use OBS mostly because of the free and open source nature as well as I heard it was more demanding and capable as you learn and grow. Alot of your videos have helped with this alot!

Started with OBS and I don't plan to switch. I love the endless customization you can do to your streams, but it definitely comes with a steep learning curve. It's a good thing TH-cam has countless tutorials! Lol

Shot out to St.Jude. So... OBS can be the Same or better than Streamlabs Desktop- with several plug ins? Yet no plug ins for OBS that deal with donation collection? THANKS !!! (Sul Sul, Sims Gamer & Conspiracy Streamer)

Basically, except the donation part isn’t a huge deal for me. For charity stuff, I use Tiltify and honestly would rather someone sub or do a charity donation rather than straight PayPal donations

What can we do to reduce whatever is causing SLOBS to use these extra resources so we can get the best performance possible? What are these resources etc?

Don't think you can, slobs are a fork of obs they added more features in exchange for extra resources if you want to use less just use obs.

try enable or disable a windows feature: press start, type Graphics options, go into there, hit change default setting. If your CPU is the bottleneck, make sure its on. If your GPU is the bottleneck, turn it off. Reset PC after. If you dont know what any of this means, try changing it regardless and see what happens. If not just use OBS studio, make sure to run as Administrator.

Features, yes but no option to turn off how they impact your computer if you aren’t using them. That’s my gripe with it.
