Try parasitic if you want to gradually leave iceborne and improve on not to depend on it

We have 6 weapons wich can deal stagger damage while 3 of wich deal massive stagger dmg (hammer, axe, striker, in comparison of the others) and only one weapon wich deals wound damage, it would be reasonable to make a 2 weapon that CAN in fact deal wound dmg without the need of a cell (and bow sounds very much like wounding. You basically shoot smoler pikes i guess?)

I don't have disapline rn but I'm usually always under half health but I'm also running cascade and having really does help.
I like part damage because you can just see a yellow 20k damage hit whit the axe throw sometimes. I had +6 sharpened, koshai axe and pretty much everything i had to make it damage

Big ass thanks from a new player. They seem so general, as in they are designed to be simplistic. At the same time knowing which perks work well with each weapon is the biggest hurdle for me atm.
Same man. I have trouble getting myself good perk combos. I main repeaters so I am thinking to crutch off of dodge/stamina cells, plus some dmg shiznit
I used to play on the first weeks, got to lvl 20 too fast, was a suporter but i got bored, i am SO GLAD, i came back to the game last week, was kinda lost but the game has a lot of things we were asking back on the first months of the game, like gliders, a better progression system and small creatures. I still want pets, a house system and more small creatures lol.
Honestly I run Stamina Regen on most of my Chainblades because it allows the Stamina to regenerate just slightly faster than me using it with Molten, so I have a higher DPS.

I have been having alot of fun with 2 piece gnashers boots and chest for +6 tuff, then using that chest to place +3 parasitic in. If you want something new defensively, give it a try.
Now that I understand game I feel like game is easier

if not, pulse is great. aetherhunter is okay, but not fantastic. overpower is amazing, but never go past +6, it does nothing. other great cells are cunning, sharpened, berserker, and predator

Hey there. Unrelated question but do you know about the Twin Suns power surge? I don't know if mine is glitched or bugged but I can't power surge mine.
I was able to powersurge mine, didn't experience an issue but you could make a ticket if necessary at playdauntless.com
What I dont like is how I only get +1 x3 instead of a +3 cell
I scraped my only iceborn cell and now i regret it
I think they should add, I don't know, a navigation system with aircraft similar to the Sea of Thieves and add bigger islands and maybe new cities. Do not know...

Hey where can i get wild frenzy pls?
Are there passive damage modifiers for certain weapons. For example, more stagger on a hammer, or more stagger on blunt based weapons like strikers? If anyone could give me a quick run down it would be of great help
The basic way the game works is that watch weapon has a different thing they exceed at So the basic rundown is
Hammer is for staggering but can’t break off parts
strikers can be used for staggering and breaking parts but this its not my place to say bcuz I never used them much
Axe is for breaking parts or dealing big damage and grim onslaught is fun to use
Sword is a neutral area bcuz sword can break parts and is easy to stagger behemoths with and the damage can get big quick
War pike from my knowledge is the only weapon that can naturally cause wounds
Chain blades are good for mobility and rapid damage but they can’t naturally stagger
Repeaters are mainly used for support/range damage but again I never really used them so I’m not the person to ask about these

@@Infectedbog-vk3ry i main chain blades and i can say that chain blades can in fact stagger behemoths. They are just not as good as the other ones. But in solo-hunts i usually get 1 ko per behemoth
@@flo8104 yes I know that they can stagger especially with the use of weighted strike +6 but I’m jus pointing out the intended use for the weapon is do deal fast damage and using the abilities and the unique dodge to manoeuvre around the target

Why have so many +3 cells? I keep extra lower level cells so that I can re-roll them, but is there a reason NOT to just dust everything once you have 2 of each +3 cell?
Dust caps out at 2000, and if you have all the cells then there isnt much purpose to buying more.
We should be able to sell them for rams.

How do u farm cores? Im trying to get discipline for about 2 weeks and got nothing but rage, ragehunter, and conduit and its starting to piss me off.
Discipline is in the trials store. It can't drop from cores.
Yep. You have to purchase it for 150 silver gilded pieces from Lady Luck. If you try to get Discipline from cores, you'll be waiting literally forever....
what do you get from the event mode?
It's not event mode, just an island event where u get those frostfall coins if that's how u call em to buy stuff in Ozz's event shop in Ramsgate.
Iceborne + Tough = Reckless Hunter Protection 101 (like me, reckless, with Rage, Wild Frenzy and Discipline)

discipline is now an Omnicell, no longer this sadly :(

Either fuse 2 different power cells and hope for good rng or 2 green overpowered cells for 1 blue or 2 blue overpowered cells for 1 purple

How to be a Behemoth serial killer

i have a skarn build which has thoughness +6 and +6 iceborne
despite all this i still get one shotted by the bhemoths in the 17-20 hunting ground
seems a bit overkill.. or you are really afraid of getting downed.
I usually use iceborn or Skarn.. and without iceborn you can be a good boy and use Skarn + Guardian
i just had free space to fill my defense slots up
@@sadiahsin I tried parasitic which is also a good cell imo especially with life steal to heal up again.

Has anyone else hit an invisible wall when doing a light air attack with chain blades or is it just me?
That has been a bug since Reapers Dance got reworked, which was over a year ago. >:( Main cause is most likely you're stacking too much attack speed. There's like a dozen other things that can cause it, but having too much attack speed, especially when using a Momentum Blades build, will cause that bug to occur more often.
Why haven’t they fixed it yet?

New Slayer listen: Tough, Iceborne and/or Parasitic, Aetheric Atunement or Catalist.
Fireproof is also almost mandatory against fire behemoths (specially Hellion). That's it!

not very much attack Speed but enough in my opinion and Focus on Part Breaks with this build

Having a lot of fun running an ice bomb axe build.

+6 iceborne
+6 knockout king
+6 overpower
+6 predator
+6 zeal
Did 31,000 damage in one axe throw to the head in an escalation last night. 15,000 regular damage and 16,000 stagger damage. And that's just the axe throw w/ no ice bomb.
Best part is, only need the malk gloves for legendary stuff to complete this build...
I call it the "Super-Predator" build... Like 1994 Joe Biden called a certain group...

Best strength cell is rage(with +3 discipline) or overpower
Best mobility cell is pls dont use these(unless glider shwoom)
Best technique cell is I still don't have a strong opinion
Best utility cell is catalyst(If you're using tonics) or catalyst
