►The Sword Rework ushered in completely new modifiers and some changes to the pre-existing specials which mixed a couple things up. I was getting asked which Modifiers and Specials are better on the sword so this is my answer as well as my ideas to help out the less effective Mods. Hope it helps.

Thats excactly why i like the thing, i just pop the koshai lifesteal lantern because i dont have iceborne and just tank the damage
Imagine the "unstaggerable beyblade of mass destruction" combined with the terra escalation's 10% lifesteal
Charged Swordfocus: If 2 charges are placed overlapping each other, they instantly explode with a larger radius and extra damage; otherwise, a singular charge will explode as normal after however many seconds.
Keen Edge: If you interrupt a behemoth with Bladesurge, receive a prompt to immediately follow up with a free Bladerush in the direction of the behemoth. This makes it so that skilled players don't have to waste time slowly running to the staggered behemoth, something that often drains the satisfaction out of getting a nice boop.
Just my ideas for better modifiers.
That would be useful for the current Shrike Trials that’s for sure.

You can still do it :v it just won't be very good.
But I did do it and it was pretty fun!
I used the koshai sword with predator,keen edge , overpower etc and I hit for 4000 to 6000 non-crit!

Fun thing I found while messing with different sword builds. You can interrupt Ardent Cyclone with Koshai lantern's dash and preserve the remaining meter if the Behemoth gets too far away while it's active, plus it helps close the distance. Also lifesteal outside of Iceborn is always good for saving pots on long hunts like Escalation
It’s worked for a while and literally nobody uses it for some reason
@@casual_noot10 I think it's because people prefer to use the drask lantern tap right before the final hit, and it doesn't take long to rebuild the meter again if the behemoth moves away. I still personally prefer the koshai lantern though
You can do it with the Thrax weapons too... well once.

I have a pretty good ice borne beyblade build which is super fun
I know it says drask lantern but make it pangar. The strat with this build is to use spin2win and spam pangar hold ability for a lot of dps

I'm surprised you didn't mention Ardent Cyclone also got free Perpetual Bladecore along with that adhesive hilt. It also helps extend the duration a lot.
All sword specials get a form of perpetual bladecore. It's just that it's tied to combo finishers in the overdrive specials and well... Cyclone just doesn't have combos.
@@darthplagueis13 Yes this is true but it is still a feature that was added, they could of just made it not generate any at all; so I count my blessings

Kinda wish the light and heavy attacks weaved into each other a little more 😭. The sword rework was gr8 but I defo think it, and its mods can use a touch up

I think it's Torg's sword with Hellion's bond (+3 Overpower) then with +3 Overpower and +3 Energized cells. Thrax helmet with +3 Catalyst for total of +6. Thrax chest with +3 Berserker. Malk's gauntlets with +3 Predator. Thrax greaves with +3 Berserker. Lantern with +3 Energize. Total: +6 Overpower, +6 Catalyst, +6 Energized, +6 Predator, +6 Cunning, +6 Berserker.
@@xmisckleix most likely he is using +6 aetheric attument, it gives 50% lantern charge from attacks, it is kinda nuts whit some builds
How do you unlock more mods, i hqve swords to level 17 AND mastery 11 qnd only have 1 mod

My damage is very low it is from 30 to max 115 ,, and my power is 505 so what should i do ?
Charged Focus is a Mod that's based on whether or not you get the stagger. So as soon as you nail a hard stagger, place an Echo quick. I've landed 90% of the Echos I place immediately after a stagger, and sometimes I can place two. I feel like we are just too afraid (me myself included here because I am afraid of using it sometimes as well) to play with it because we are all about taking down the behemoth faster and it seems like Charged focus doesn't play to our cocaine-level-speed fix even though it actually does take down the behemoth faster for us.
Recursive hilt is better then resounding echoes. It's a free BladeRush used for extra damage a weave into LLH and mobility

Keen Edge should decrease the cast time on Bladesurge. That would help people who struggle to boop have an easier time on that.

Ardent Cyclone got a little bug sometimes I'm just spinning forever after the charge reaches zero
I get that too when i dc and recon in game immediately hahaha but stops when i use my E (for reviving or amp crystal)

I wish there was a modifier that made all the valor moves cost 2 instead of 3. Nothing more, nothing less.

Because I combo but then I get hit while I’m doing it I use chain blades but I don’t know if it’s the best to use
I like them but I haven’t really used the other weapons so pls make a beginner guide on best weapon type and dodge time etc.

Oh dough I wanted to ask you a question about the dauntess, recently on my PS4 my game has been crash a lot at the beginning of the game and I always lose progress and I was wondering if you have+

You should try and contact the dauntless tech support about it.
Does the crashing happen randomly, or only in specific situations? There's currently an issue where the game can crash if you draw a sword on a patrol hunt with other players.
@@darthplagueis13 I will try and it usually occurs in any patrol and always at the beginning of it

If you want to never die just use the Skarn sword with cyclone and iceborne

They gave a melee weapon... a mod that makes its one, lackluster, boop-only attack slightly better. If I wanted range, I'd stick to my repeaters, they are a lot more reliable for range!

Valiant is honestly not bad, gives a lot of damages on staggered behemoth.
@@thomasb5307 the reason I don't rate avenging that much higher as the others anymore is that you got a new easy to use interrupt.
@@fzoid3534 mainly Avenging Overdrive is not to interrupt but to stand your ground and keep the dps rising

The worst modifier could be good if it increased by 100 percent for every .5 seconds it travels maxing at like 500 or 600

Mod Idea: the 2 hold bottun skills cost 1 valour Not 3. Thats make the sword more efficient
Would be broken. Makes the mod where you get your valour back after using bladerush obsolete

You can literally get that 1k from normal heavy attack

New sword feels way worse than it used to be to me. The removal of adhesive hilt and spamming repeting elements really takes the fun out of the sword

Sword doesnt really seem to lack stamina since Repeating Elements got removed.
