I only discovered these two month ago . haven't even got through all there music yet they are fucking amazing .I keep listening to one song on loop .replay .then the next one is amazing two.so much melody and power .
Given that the Afterman albums are pretty synth-heavy compared to earlier ventures, I was surprised and delighted to discover that the riff Travis is playing was actually guitar. Also, while I think Claudio/Travis/Mic/Chris was the best general lineup for the band, I think these 4 are far and away the best acoustic lineup the band has ever had.
I've been playing guitar for years I rarely play the electric and good rock sounds just as good on an acoustic most of the time. bit harder to play but with their talent . there is also some neat harmonics in that riff . pretty good acoustic.
Astute observation, George. You are correct "The Aftermath" is not the name of the song. It is called "The Afterman." Thanks for clearing that up for us big guy!
I always think it's hilarious when people say that the band played their own song wrong. I'm pretty sure they know what their doing. If they did mess up I take Jake White's philosophy and celebrate the errors.
oh believe me, I don't care, I worship Claudio and everything he does. I just thought it was a funny note and that other people might want to hear it. Sorry if it was interpreted wrong, man!
I wonder if claudio robbed a pharmacy for Percocet and hid on the tour bus...if they would kick him out.. and hire Getty Lee.. or if they'd just hide him and run to the state line.I love these guys.
you can't kick claudio out of coheed and cambria, claudio has legal rights to the band. the other members would have to leave but they could not dismiss claudio legally.
am i the only one who thinks travis always has just a very blank face for everything. he bobs his head and he moves around, but his face is just so "i don't care"
yeah he's like that in the performances but he's such a goofball if you watch their behind the scenes stuff or interviews. Some performers just get really into it.
The most criminally underrated band in existence.
Those who know know!
Totally love that I found this band with like a decade of songs to explore!
Coheed and Cambria is one of the best band out there, no doubt. How they don’t get more attention is crazy to me.
claudio is really, really creative. to keep coheed up so long, he's the real deal.
I cant get over how awesome this song is

Amazing... Zach's voice complements Claudio's nicely.
No one ever gives Travis credit......WE LOVE TRAVIS!
Yes, we love travis
no one can play an egg like josh can :-) B-)

Great band!
this is so beautiful!
Thats som kickass shakey egg faces!
I feel so bad for Travis on this song, that riff already drills into my fucking head during acoustic performances it must drive him crazy
I nearly caved in my skull facepalming myself after seeing "The Aftermath"
Glad you fixed the name! ;}
💗
Personally I like the acoustic version a littler better for some reason
Still the greatest band off all time imo
"The Aftermath"!!! That's hilarious. Typical radio station
Astute observation, George. You are correct "The Aftermath" is not the name of the song. It is called "The Afterman." Thanks for clearing that up for us big guy!
Zero dislikes. There's a reason for that.
Anyone else notice that they labeled this The Aftermath? Sorry 102.9 not a rap song!
brianna pruitt lol I think they changed it after seeing comments.
Stuart Geyer 15 seconds in man, they've written the Aftermath in the intro to the video
Gota give it to the percussion he’s in the zone
The Aftermath... That made me giggle
I want the intro to this song played at my funeral.
Lol me too
Josh is well in to that egg.
Just realised Coheed will be bbc radio 1's live longer best artist, for some reason they haven't invited them yet
Came here lookin for Josh comments. I was not disappointed!
:( - beginning of video displays "Aftermath".. oops.. editor on line 2... LOL Great acoustic set.. love it.

It’s because the riff sounds different than the album version, so people cry bc originality is a crime
It really is.
i think some slack givin' is in order
This version is siiiiick tho
So... Will I be the only one who points out the YOTBR poster right behind Claudio?
Damn that was a wrong note claudio hit on the guitar at 2:27
Did anyone notice it said the aftermath at the beginning
oh believe me, I don't care, I worship Claudio and everything he does. I just thought it was a funny note and that other people might want to hear it. Sorry if it was interpreted wrong, man!
shitt. this is groovy
It's actually both.
...is zach playing a different bassline than in the studio version, or is that just me?
Did anyone else notice the Ouija board between Claudio and Josh?
uhhh wtf is "The Aftermath?"
lounge*. god damn it
"The Aftermath" is not the name of this song...
Aftermath? woops... haha
Pretty sure its.... afterman
Yeah... wtf aftermath xD ?
That's criminal to misname the song the aftermath
lol josh
Fail at 0:16
*Camper Velourium

i dont think geddy's current vocals would really fit coheed.

what the fuck is this comment
am i the only one who thinks travis always has just a very blank face for everything. he bobs his head and he moves around, but his face is just so "i don't care"
i do the same whenever i play
he gives that face cause he knows he's just that damn good
yeah he's like that in the performances but he's such a goofball if you watch their behind the scenes stuff or interviews. Some performers just get really into it.
jraybozy he does always seem to be bored with what hes doing yeah, but in fairness this is a boring ass song for him to play :P
+jraybozy That's not always the case. He's literally just strumming the same thing this entire song so it's understandable.
The acoustic version is awesome, though the demo version's a little better than this one.
...no it's not
wtf 102.9 good job butchering the name of the song
why is it that drummers always make some weird faces when playing...they look like they're taking a very uncomfortable dump..
:16
FAIL.
