@@amandamattle5880 Maybe, that's katsudon or oyakodon. Oyakodon is the one with chicken thigh,and katsudon with tonkatsu in it.

I missed Japan i was in the US Navy stationed in Atsugi US Naval Base in 1972-79 and 1986-89. Also i was stationed in Kadena US Naval Air Faciltiy in Okinawa, Japan in 1982-86....Watching from Glendale, CA

I love Japanese food provided it's Halal. Japanese people eat healthy way of cooking food. I miss Japan. How I wish I could visit Japan once again. Japanese are hard working and respectful people.
There are bunch of foods that made of pork. If You're muslim, Better check it before try something. especially ramen broth, rice bowl with soy sauce marinated pork etc. This comment make me remind one of muslim student. He ate multiple times beef + pork mixed meatball. He couldn't aware until bring local friends with him...
@@k0211312d Yes, I know. I've stayed in Japan a couple of years but there are a few Halal restaurants and my Japanese friends cook without Mirin, pork and certain other ingredients. They substitute to something else thats halal and try to have the taste as close if possible. But there are other seafood and vege dishes that I like too. My favourite is their seafood dishes. I just have to be a little alert and ask them before I put anything into my mouth! ☺️
Now I have no problem because I'm staying in Malaysia and we are a Muslim country and there are many Halal Japanese restaurants too. Thanx for caring.

ちらしそばがすごくうまそうでした。
私の住む京都には、このちらしそばのアレンジみたいなものがあります。
大宮通北山下ルの「そば鶴」の「胡麻酢蕎麦」です。
サービスで小ライスがつけられるので、海老天とともに残しておいて、
そばを食った後にごはんに海老天をトッピングし、胡麻酢ダレをかけて「胡麻酢天丼」にするのが最高にウマいです。
