Before there was an English edition colloquially known as "the leaky lifeboat game". Intrige is something like this. It's also part of a group of racing games in which players can mess up others, like Karawane and Igel Aergern. The difference here is that there's very little randomness.
@@BoardGems Great! To me, it's more of a gem than this is. Best with 4 or more. I can get this to the table very easily. All in the group love it. The many variants -- doping is a favorite -- help replayability.
I like very much the background music you use for the rules explanation in your videos. It gives me a very relaxing retro video game feeling. Could you post a link or name to access that track? Thanks for making this channel.
Thanks! I'm afraid it's not available anywhere - it was composed by my son, and he has yet to share his work with the world! I will share your compliment with him, to give him encouragement. :)
I have the original german version of this game. Every so often I encounter the right mix of people and pull this one out. It ALWAYS pulls everyone in and gets people shouting and laughing.
There's two games I know of named Beowulf. One is just "Beowulf", the other is "Beowulf: The Movie: Board Game". I have both and have played neither! But the latter, which is on my shelf, is a sequel to Kingdoms, which I love and did a video on. (I tossed the insert and keep a spare copy of Kingdoms inside its box, so there's two games in there!)
How you doing? I really like your channel 😄. I wanted to ask if you think this is a game for a 9, almost 10 year old. Because of the cunning aspect of the game. I hope you can help me out.
Rules-wise, absolutely. But it does require a bit of maturity to be able to handle other players voting you to drown! In my opinion a 10yo should be fine, but of course it depends on the particular 10yo. Hope that helps a little!

Thank's, the art on german box is greater in my opinion, i'm surprised that's not your favorite, or maybe you don't have it... see you
