+Khira Bp That it's not sticky and greasy in your hair like most, especially medium to heavy, oil-based pomades are. Some people like the grease, some people, like James, don't.
Edit: And to clarify: By medium and heavy pomades I meant the weight, not necessarily the hold.
See medium light get me nervous. I have very 'jewfro' hair (Irish go figure). And when I use anything below a medium the front tends to drop like a cake. I really love all the Flagship WB. including Insubmersible OG, I really like Strait of Malacca but the scent is literally disgusting to me (I love all the others). I'm trying to get Wade to make a custom scent Strait for me but he's on vacation this week.

I doubt he will, at least not for a lonnnnnnnng time, the market is so new that most of the Brewers guard their unorthodox recipes like Fort Knox.
+CJ Jover21e i can post Rustin's original Deluxe and Supreme recipes if you'd like. It's literally just water, wax and oils. And you have to emulsify the wax/oils and water somehow. Rustin used emulsifying wax but others have used just a combination of beeswax and borax and some others have used hydrogenated castor oil. There are a few ways to emulsify but it really is quite simple once you have the knowledge

yep i do. Here's Rustin Deluxe WB Recipe
The Measurement is in (g). I'll list the ingredients in percentages. If you make 100g of product, these percentages are a makeup of those 100g.
Mix 28.3% of water and 4.25% of stearic acid.
Mix 17% beeswax, 17% e-wax, 17% grapeseed oil, 8.5% castor oil, 2.83% shae butter, 5% fragrance oils.

clarkj68 bro, I use two of them and quarantined you it's all dam good pomade .
"Insub" gave you easy comp your hair , more shiny , medium hold I think and very good smell ,I love that smell (like a hurb)
"Black Ship" gave you a little harder comp , lees shiny than "Insub" but more hold .My job had stay on sunlight 5 or 6 hours per day , and I loose minimum of my pomp .

+Marcus Beltran Yes, that is what water based do. You don't need some fancy techniques or special products. Just shampoo. And in my experience, the new water based that have come out in the past year do not take more than one shower. Although many say that a single shower only takes out most of the stuff. But with that said, it's still a lot better than traditional oil-based.

Marcus Beltran Yes that's what I'm referring to. The water based products that are not water soluble. These kind of products are not really that new anymore. And it's exactly as you imagine it to be.
