while I absolutely love The Order, I'm a believer in the vanilla Satara. A Tier 5 ++ Satara equipped with Wallpuncher and Spinetickler will easily out DPS The Order and turn V into an absolutely raging cyberpsycho. While Orders 1 shot will decimate anything in it's path, you can keep the barrage going with a regular Satara at much faster intervals and most enemies will still fall to a single shot.
Absolutely, you make a great point about the vanilla Satara. In the video, I focused on iconics for simplicity, but I agree that non-iconics like the Satara can be exceptionally powerful with the right mods. Thanks for your input!
@@anders12114Spinetickler increases the chance of an EMP burst with every shot...it's more common than Wallpuncher, which increases barrier penetration IIRC.
The fact you can get the Scorch pistol at the very beginning of Act 1 boosts it high in my opinion. I dislike the unpredictability of Chaos, and Apparition comes too late in the game to be really useful...I haven't encountered Ambition yet. Lizzie is one of the best guns in the game, IMO. Evelyn Parker should have carried Lizzie rather than Cocktail Stick. My joy at discovering Raiju in Dogtown can hardly be described...a tip-top favorite. Breakthrough is indeed fine, but even the base Nekomata is a superb weapon. The Achilles class of rifles is fatally handicapped by having no capacity to mount a scope. A 'precision rifle' without a scope is a oxymoronic absurdity.
The script was absorbing, dramatic, cheesy good fun. Tech’s Bolt Shot mechanic rewards the dedicated player. It takes time to get good with each and every weapon’s distinct timing. Professionals add in time slowing effects like Kerezenikov. Only the Elite of the Elite can add the Lightning Storm perk into the mix, changing up the timing with each successive Bolt, making the perk a beginner’s nightmare. However, when you can reliably Kerezenikov with a Lightning Stormed Lizzie, the red carpet to the Night City Hall of Fame is laid at your feet. Order is the basterd child of Doom’s BFG 9000 and Super Shotgun. It’s like punching with a Sonic Boom made of electricity, vaporizing any enemies it hits into spattered chunks. 3 seconds. That’s how long it takes to charge up, which you’ll need to firmly plant your feet, because when it fires both shells at once, it’ll knock you backwards. Stealth builds probably weren’t looking at Order anyway, but the fact that it forces you up to a standing position from being crouched will always make you the center of attention.
Another great video with superb presentation! I do think Lizzy by itself should be in the top 3 but I understand you’re ranking the groupings. Gris gris is amazing.

on my stealth netrunner build, Pariah is easily my most used tech weapon, its a one hit kill even if you miss the bolt timing on most enemies in stealth

Also good for builds that have no netrunning, as you get Netrunner skill progression when the iconic effect uploads a Quickhack. You might not need much from that skill, but there’s the free Perk points, and everyone can use those.
I mean, let’s be real here, there’s a lot of things in this game that someone might consider “cheating.” Net running alone is still completely busted, and sandy is also pretty powerful. And with the right perks and weapons, Berserk can also be stupidly strong. So I don’t think anyone should pride themselves for “only using (X)” You’re just limiting yourselves at that point

Especially if you only use power weapons EVERY play through. For instance, I prefer Katanas, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to use a katana every playthrough. I do not think ranking all the tech wepons all togather is optimal. The better option is to rank every pistol, every revolver, etc etc separately. Cause puting togather every tech wepon is kind of all over the place. A top for wepons for diferent playstiles would be amazing. Top 10 best guns for a run and gun maniac build, or best wepons for the netrunning builds.
Huh. Did not know about the HA-4 as its a non iconic and the arsenal kind of leads you to look up at the iconics first with non iconics seen more as a transition weapons. Perfect replacement for Lizzy, specially with the crafted version that has two mod slots

Replace spinetickler with the mod Kneel! It takes a bit of time to find at vendors for good reasons. It's deliciously broken when shooting legs.

I only use power weapons. Tech, and especially, smart weapons, feel like cheating. Same goes for ricochets with power weapons.
It's much better if you don't use dashing or double jump. Especially on Very Hard.
