All organization members have weapons, and Ansem uses magic attacks and the guardian so he doesn't have get his gloves dirty. Meanwhile, most of Xemnas' attacks are literally him throwing hands
Very very well done. I wish this could be the model outline for tutorials on all bosses in video games for other youtubers. I am glad I came across your channel you cover everything in great detail but don’t overwhelm us with filler information just information the viewer needs to know. I will sift through your vods in hopes of kh2 data battles. Thank you again
If anybody managed to avoid the vines in 2nd phase after the DM, the moves is exactly like the 1st phase but like 1 and a half of every loop. If you can practice to dodge roll in between the two possible 1st moveset and 3rd moveset whenever there is a delay, you're good to go in 2nd phase and 1st phase all together. It is an opportunity, but practicing to dodge the vines after a guard during the DM 5 times in a row, then guard 2 times and reprise will earn an opening. The timing is very strict since the cue to dodge roll is when the light gives out a blue signal. It is only better to dodge the 1st and 2nd part of the DM for the vines since you get a free opening and cut the DM short. The 3rd part isn't even worth dodging due to tight frames.
I hadn't played the game since release, but I figured my Lvl 99 Proud account would be able to take on these fights. No way. I managed to defeat everyone except data Terra-Xehanort and Data Xemnas. I was doing okay executing the strategies, but finding my HP would just go to zero if I was ever hit even once. Actually don't think I won a fight without a kupo coin. So I spent 5ish hours grinding money and materials for Def, Str, Mag Ups. Instant victories. Beat both of them first try (with the help of your vids of course) without Kupo coin. Having 100 DEF (It was in the 80s) made an enormous difference. I could actually survive a hit and typically even if I was combo'd into oblivion could survive through an MP recharge to get a Curaga off. Interestingly enough, I farmed munny for around 20 total elixirs bc I had been using 5+ Hi Potion/Ethers each fight before... I only used 1 elixir in each of these fights to win. If you're just trying to beat the fight (Not 'No Damage' the fight), I highly suggest farming statsto 100+ DEF and STR. I also used Nano Gear which made the fight a bit less annoying.
After his second DM he will also fill the arena with walls. But that stage is hard to get to thanks to the amount of damage you can do to him during punishes. Most fights are over before the second DM. But it has a chance of triggering when he has 2 or less healthbars.
Just to let you know at 5:35 when he does his beyblade spin if you block the red , and he goes up into the blue if you reprise and go into combo it will catch his feet and start a combo.
Thank you very much for this guide. I always struggle during the DM because it felt like forever. But which part of his move specifically there is a guard fail? I face Guard Fail with Dark Inferno purple phase, hit him when he is guarding to immediate guard, reprise, then guard immediately (this one can guard fail) and reprise for an opening.
Recall that "Leaving?" is his main indicator for his tendrils. And if you wind up in a situation like me where he's kind of offscreen for his melee attacks during the DM, try getting a feel for the timing for each combo and between each one.
I want to know why he activated his DM twice when i fight him. Any other time i see someone fight him he only does it once. It kills me every time he does it the second time.
In 2nd phase, Xemnas moves exactly the same as he was in 1st phase. However, those moves had vines in between hits so you have to mash from guard into dodge (when you see the blue outline from those white balls) or else Xemnas will just move on to his next move. He has weird delays between some of his hits so those delays are meant to be filled with dodge roll. If you let Xemnas's vine hit you at all in 2nd phase, he will move on to his next moveset in queue. Doing so will guarantee him to DM twice. The solution here is to get the timing to dodge those vines and get the punish during the 1st part of his DM. If you succeed, Xemnas won't even live long enough to do a 2nd DM.
As someone who prefers a camera with the horizontal axis flipped, that triple barrier attack is total horse shit. Basically forces you to either use thunder (which doesn't scale to pro codes) or to have a backwards camera. Fucking gross.
how the fuck do you retarget him when hes making the walls so quickly? I airstep the first one, destroy it and then I cant do fucking shit and its too late.
yeah its hard as fuk at first . in the second phase its way worse, especially with pro codes (no thunder)...i suggest not using ultima keyblade, something about that red target thing... it can be done but when learning don't use it.....,, you must airstep literally as soon as he appears, and then to the next spot by memory automatic..... you have to know all 4 locations by trying a few times even then you mil seconds from messing up... you cannot ever be searching its just move fast or use thunder or ultima triangle finish to wipe out alll walls and knock him for a extra opening,,, do this trick after he makes then second wall and he'll fall down for a open and still will do that easy to block attack after his revenge is hit, and then the opening attack (kicks or spin) then next time so its like many free combos it takes you to the DM phase almost
thank you for this, needed it, xemnas is the last one, then its off to xehanort and xion
I'll catch up to you soon if those 2 give you too much trouble
Curtis Sicks we will see haha hopefully xion wont kick my ass for days

Great guide as always, I just need master Xehanort now and man he’s super annoying right now
That guide is about 2 weeks out. Hold on to your horses champ XD
Curtis Sicks well patience is a virtue, take your time and I hope you’re having fun making these :)
I actually went to see the Sonic movie as a way to thank you for these vids and you're right, it was good! Much better than I thought it'd be!
Best video game movie of all time I hear people saying.

This video helped me a lot. Thanks, man! Much appreciated. Liked and subbed. 🤝
Thanks to this guide i was able to beat Xemnas but didnt get no damage he caught me off guard at some moments
Happy to help. There actually is a guard fail during his DM that I failed to mention. He is one of the more inconcistent to no damage.
@@curtissicks9739 i accidently pressed square when he was doing his unblockable slash after vines were everywhere

this is great thank you
You are welcome!

He says "leaving?", not "kneel" :p
@@Omnicraze oh fug
Can do Dm twice after a period. Sets up so many walls afterwards
Edit: attacks straight away after his second dm with a unblock-able slash
what ability do you use?
I literally beat data bosses on critical by using links on attacks I didn’t know how to dodge 😂😂
Oh well... if you look at your controller you'll see a square button. You're welcome
Huh??
Definitely beat two with link summons Simba is clutch

Xemnas will always alternate direction. The 1st one in centre, 2nd one will be left and 3rd one is right.
