The best tip before handling any DM is to disengage lock on from any enemy, especially if they are mobile. This is because your camera moves together with the target. And for Saix, its better to stay grounded since gliding makes him call more Claymores that can come off screen. Whenever Saix makes an immediate turn, he's going to do the shockwaves. As for the dashes in his berserk meter, its better to dodge the 1st one, guard the 2nd one and immediately reprise as soon as Saix moves offscreen. This is essential in the last phase because its very taxing to dodge an unblockable attack only to face slam in a different one.
One thing worth to know, that the game actually tell you in the tip on the game over screen, when he is on his Second Stage of Berserk and he tries to focus to refill his gauge like at 8:26 you can interrupt him with Blizzard and get an opening out of it ^^

I know this is late but thank you SO MUCH. I've beaten all the other data org members on critical on my own, but this is the one I put off for last because I just could not figure him out. Finally broke down and looked up a guide and it was well worth it. On to xion and xehanort now.
Don't go into the air. And those shockwave hitboxes (hurtboxes?) are deceptively smaller than they appear. Or maybe it's the i-frames of Sora's roll. Regardless, trust in the rolling. He can also be stunned, I think simply by doing enough damage.
I don’t know what it was, but I just couldn’t get the timing down for when he throws the club and then the four. I ended up having to cheese him by combining into Kong’s flare just before that move. Because after two days I was tired it the moon shining down
His 4 and 7 seven powerful dashes can be stopped .... dodge the first block the second and reprisal when he appears for the third. You can be fast rather then slow as he teleporting/attack fast.. he can also be hit when he'' breaks'' his claymore in many minees or w/e, but thats tricky for me and its a block reprisal FAST AS HECK,,,,, .........also the way of dodging/block for berserk must be precise distance and timing to get the risk dodge vs being hit...I wait until he appears to block both attacks and wait for him to appear to do a small dodge roll up. This makes it so he appears right next me ( this works both phases) and a easy block for perfect risk dodge gain.. for me his regular non berserk last phase killed me like 3 times with a bar or less left..lol 3 elixer cost sometimes ...... on lv1 ..... GOT ME FURIOUS,,, His berserk is very easy for me but not the dm.
I think the most precise way to get that is to guard the 2nd dash and reprise as soon as Saix went off the screen (just Saix) but it cannot be done with Counter Kick. Only Slash and Impact can do so.
ive completed 3 data fights so far (marluxia, vanitas, luxord) and this one is way harder in comparison... i've been trying for 3 hours and hopefully the others after saix will be a bit easier
I’ve spent more hours on this fight than I have against Lingering Will; this fight is way harder, imo. His dash attacks and DM are too inconsistent. And don’t get me started with his move when he throws five claymores at you. ETA: I’m just happy to know this boss wasn’t gaslighting me about being difficult lol.
if you block the the first dash ( after the five claymore throw you can rerisal him... just wait his for his second apperence to hit X) ,,,,, his first phase dashes after half way health are what killed me 3 times with 1 bar health on lv1....... i was BIG MAD
@@AzoozAlAhlawi If I remember correctly you have to wait a second after he throws the first set so that they spread out enough that they'll miss you when coming back around. Don't airstep the moment he throws them... wait for them to move a little bit first
You can block him if your directly under his sword when he sends out energy waves and it surprised me when it made me counter and take his life a little faster. But the last berserker always gets me thanks for the tips.
Its called Risk Dodge. The implication is that there is some risk involved in using it if you are not fast enough to punish, but if you anticipate using risk dodge it almost always works in your favor.
I came here for the D.M, pretty nice guide overall. But the D.M seems random to me. Been doing every fights of the game with all pro codes, finding them consistent, but Saïx's DM is something else. :/
Marcus if you are struggling with xion just know that she has an opening pritty much right of block her first 3 sets of attacks then counter at the end of the third one also when she starts her armer phase she is left open after the 4th attack if you block it so as longa s you block that ya good after that she dose it twice so you should be able to brake her armer witch will leave her open for attack. Hope this helps you as its all i could really understand as he moves are so fast the rest of the boss i pritty much winged it 😅 best of luck to ya shes a tough one

I found that if you use the Nano keyblade (the keyblade you get from the Big Hero 6 world) you won’t get stunned from that throwing blade attack.

Yeah even speed runners at the moment aren't sure about a consistent way to get through it untouched. It's a little bit dependent on luck

Due to how slow blizzard moves I don't 100% recommend it, but it can work up close.

I have been hit by the homing claymores every single time I have tried to airstep him like you do here.
the guide is helping im close to killing him i found out you can use light form while breaking his berserk but its by chance

I can sympathize. Each one of these fights takes me 3-5 hours to learn completely and no damage. It's exhausting.

I used Simba to get him out of Berserker mode

So I've had 6 claymores in the DM before. It seems randomised.

Every time I airstep to him as shown in the video the second wave of claymores circles back around and hits me, interrupting my combo......
