Hey! About the Squids- here’s an actual answer. Squids have a custom movement method that no other entity has, and its sole purpose was to get it to move in individual “pushes” instead of constantly moving like, for instance, a fish. This is also the culprit for all the visual issues on the client pertaining to Squids, such as clipping through blocks- this didn’t sync properly with the client, and the client was also running this movement method alongside the server. In relation to Bubble Columns, this method was simply never updated to account for them, likely an oversight or just not deemed important at the time as it worked for all other entities without an entirely custom movement method.

@@KingTaltia pretty sure both dungeons and legends have stopped development. legends might still get something since its recent but i doubt dungeons gets anything anymore
They finally added bundles to Bedrock yesterday and I must say they are fun to mess with. I made two bundles of bundles since you can put 16 empty ones inside another whether they're nested or all in one. You can actually put bundles with items in them inside another bundle as long as they don't exceed the limit, so as long as you could fit the items from one bundle into another plus the bundle itself then you can shove them into each other without taking anything out of either. Example: I have two bundles. One has 28 items in it and the other has eight empty bundles. Since bundles count as four items that means the second bundle is exactly half full with 32/64. 32+28+4=64, meaning I can put the bundle bundle inside the other bundle and it'll be full, but if either bundle had even one extra item I wouldn't be able to put either in the other because it'd be over capacity. The fact that you can't see the contents of a bundled bundle means you can give another player a present without them being able to see what's in it until it's opened, similar to wrapping something in tissue paper before putting it in a bag.
i think the mayor reason they made squid ignore bubble column in the first place was the desync they had and looked like they flew way up in the air. i think that has now been fixed along with the bug where squids spawn in bubble columns.
Big fan of a bundle Changes I’m glad you can color them I wish the potions were changed back to the way they used to be though it was easier for me to see them that way
Really unfortunate that they only announced the date for Live recently. Kinda hard for people to get time off from work with such short notice (for those of us who work weekends at least)
I think the mobs using the mace is hilarious, especially with the “X got smashed by zombie” death messages and the fact that they are guaranteed to hit the mace attack
I kinda think that bundles should stack unstable items. Like imagine going looting and putting all the armor and things that you find into the bundle to free up space! Or of you play with your friends and a new one joins an old server, you could give them a welcome bag of gear to get them up to level with everyone else! No shulkers, only gear. And maybe instead of being stacks of 64, it could be stacks of 16?
Perhaps they should add in a gametag-based system on whether a mob/entity is affected by either magma-bubbles or soul-bubbles or both (like a gameplay:canBePulledDown). For the squids it would make sense that they can be pushed up (since that won't damage them) but then not be affected by magma blocks.
It does, but why did PT even come into the conversation, @xisumvoid ? The screen said EDT (Eastern Daylight Time). You had to actively convert it to another time zone, you weren't even interested in.

the colored bundles would be nice if they allowed us to color them like we do leather armor this way we can really have them any color we want :D it would also mean that there is only `minecraft:bundle` with NBT data, other than `minecraft:%color%_bundle`
In my opinion the bundles should be dyeable to any color combination like leather armor, not just the basic 16. I have always wanted that kind of feature to shulker boxes too.
They should make it so if you give an allay a bundle full of different items it'll pick up those items one at a time. Because some people, myself included, like to bring allays exploring to grab items that fall out of reach, but you either need a ton of allays or, what I do, have one with scaffolding so I can get the items myself, and climb back up with the scaffolding breaking it behind me for my allay to collect for me. The fact that they'd only bring one stack back at a time should balance it out so it's not too OP.
2:58 this is nice and all but i would really like to see mojang adress obvious old problems and inconsistencies before they move forward. I’m still waiting for concrete and terracotta slabs stairs and walls….
Personally, I think the biggest issue with squids not ignoring columns is specifically the amount of items that could be put at the bottom of the ocean ravines.
Again, as I notice long long ago. Bundle is just a slot on your inventory( for a single 64-item. I hope ,Mojang change the bundle into 3 slot that accepts shulkers. It makes the bundle 81x more than this current Bundle.
I didn't even realize that squid weren't affected by bubble columns in Java edition. I never did make a squid/glow squid farm in java. As far as I am aware they have always been affected in Bedrock edition.
I was so excited reading the change log and seeing the first bug fix about the too expensive thing, because I thought they were removing the feature altogether (it’s such a stupid feature that I assumed lots of people had assumed it was a bug of some kind and reported it as a bug so that’s why it was in the bug fixes section). Sadly that is not the case. Still a good snapshot though
The bundles seem to be starting to become an actual contender for helping the inventory issues in minecraft these last updates. I can only imagine they add something like that in-inventory functionality to shulker boxes later down the line. Would be nice if server operators could tune the maximum contents of a bundle. Just some thoughts.. Thanks, X!
Why tune the maximum amount? Bundles are already extremely good. When adventuring you can store your small amounts of diamond, gold, emeralds and other valuables into one slot and save space for unstackables.

this way we can really have them any color we want :D
it would also mean that there is only `minecraft:bundle` with NBT data, other than `minecraft:%color%_bundle`
Good point, I agree
I hope one smaller updates brings glass half slabs, want more these utility or design items be more flexible
If the just don’t allow squids to spawn inside bubble columns then that would make a farm much harder to make ! ⭐️
I am SO hyped about dyeable bundles!!! ahh!! I am playing Minecraft SO much more with all of these quality of life updates they've been doing.
The bundles being dye-able was like my one thing i wanted from them, so this makes me VERY happy!!!!!!
7:15 ender pearl loading better now serial temp straight line chunk loading is possible. Tnt targeting of anything.
Up but not down would be great for squid.
Dolphins not losing oxygen while their AI isn't loaded is better though
If you're in the UK minecraft live should be around 6pm
Squid are/were affected by bubble columns on the Bedrock edition. It was a great ink farm that I was sad to find didn't work on Java.
Thanks mojang for the 1am live.. not like i have work on 7am haha
In my opinion the bundles should be dyeable to any color combination like leather armor, not just the basic 16. I have always wanted that kind of feature to shulker boxes too.
5:45 there is always something
Please get some of Doc’s fan art in. His community goes above and beyond weekly making cool stuff for his thumbnails.
With the amount of changes bundles have received recently, maybe mojang is more determinated to finally release those things.
3:00 - "might of"???
Personally, I think the biggest issue with squids not ignoring columns is specifically the amount of items that could be put at the bottom of the ocean ravines.
I wish the bundle can be dyed like leather armor, so we can have (near) infinite combination.
5:06 I got excited there for a little bit
Again, as I notice long long ago.
Bundle is just a slot on your inventory( for a single 64-item.
I hope ,Mojang change the bundle into 3 slot that accepts shulkers. It makes the bundle 81x more than this current Bundle.
I didn't even realize that squid weren't affected by bubble columns in Java edition. I never did make a squid/glow squid farm in java. As far as I am aware they have always been affected in Bedrock edition.
yooooo we can have "upgradeable gear" in the crafting table now! much better than the smithing table, we can use multiple items now!
7:43 Husk SMASH!
seems like smaller updates allow the devs to focus on community requests. that or they are focusing on community requests to regain their reputation idk
