    hii❤ love your channel ! can you do a video on how to become a cosmetic chemist? i think itd be really cool. also maybe a day in the life of a cosmetic chemist

      I have a feeling it is actually similar to most other lab chemistry. I am not an organized or detail-oriented person, so I am grateful for lab scientists who have the patience for what is actually rather unglamorous work. I'd love to know when/how the chemist gets some creative input into formulation, fixing issues, new ingredient adds, etc. Can you offer ideas or is it all executive or marketing-driven? And how chemists move into those type of roles more permanently, if they do. do many of your co-lab professionals love cosmetics or was the job a choice made for other factors? and how do you combat the boredom and tedium of a highly detailed job? it must be so cool to be in the corporate chemistry world AND also working with brands as an influencer, getting to see your field 360° is awesome!

      I’ve heard good things about the beauty of Joseon matte sunstick (the name might be off, I’m just thinking off the top of my head) although I haven’t tried it yet.

      I've seen the beauty blender recommended for reapplying sunscreens. You should press sunscreen into the skin not rub it so you don't ruin your makeup. Also, there are SPF powders that can be used, too.

      A sunscreen stick or a aerosol sunscreen are my go tos. Especially the spray, it gives a beautiful glow and ill only touch up my nose a tad after spraying it

    i literally do these by the book, but my spots are very serious about being here lol. warning: if u live in a small town or the rural west, you may have thot you were sunscreening properly. even in Montana's biggest city, we only recently got affordable facial sunscreen, we've been using day lotion w spf instead. I don't understand the difference or why fraudulent labeling is allowed, but the latter won't fully prevent spots. I've been doing a good spot fade routine for nearly 3 years, almost no change. BUT, I continue because I did fade my hand spots & that's my biggest ick in aging, over wrinkles even, and because, for my health, the process at least boosts my sun routine & prevents more damage than spf alone. I am glad I found the ordinary, lol, I could never afford this routine using high end and I almost never find multi ingredient products that are a good fit for me. luckily, applying several serums is perfect, since "7 skins" is the only method that plumps my skin!

      What a shame you realized that later, most misunderstand it when lotion, moisturizer, or makeup mentions it has SPF but its not adequate or enough to be counted as an actual SPF, wish people realized its like a minor "bonus." Always look for the UVA/UVB label on the bottle because this is the symbol needed to show that it protects against the UV exposure. Highly suggest to aim for an SPF of 45-50 and nothing below. It helps if you use a vitamin c serum, brightening and soothing products with ingredients like niacinamide and squalene, a moisturizer, whatever good quality SPF UVA/UVB product, reapply once a day, and then use retinol and a good quality moisturizer at night. Everything else (like exfoliation or other acids/serums) are additional good things but the vitamin C and SPF combo will enhance one another and provide the protection needed to brighten and prevent further damage while retinol will increase the cell turn over/healing process. Good luck!

      Day lotion with SPF *is sunscreen* as long as you use the right amount (1/4 tsp for face/neck). Anything that has SPF claims in the US is treated as a drug and testing to meet the standards based on the necessary dose, regardless how it's marketed. So as long as you use enough SPF 30 day lotion will give you the same coverage as SPF 30 sunscreen....it's all marketing. Now if you were only using SPF 10 or 15 day lotion that's relatively light on protection....ditto if you were using less than a normal dose (ie just a small squirt) then you weren't get the stated SPF value because you used less than the required dose.....hope that helps

    Ramon, Can you please tell how much effective is Tranexamic acid for stubborn hyperpigmentation from sun exposure? I have some hyperpigmentation around my mouth area because of not using sunscreen when I was a teenage. I am thinking about using AHA and Tranexamic acid for my hyperpigmentation around mouth area. But I am not sure if it gonna be effective

    • @jaydsh
      @jaydsh ปีที่แล้ว +3

      tranexamic acid is effective between 2%-5%. it depends on your skins sensitivity but most people tolerate 5% very well and it gives amazing results!

    Do you know of any sun screen that doesn't leave a greasy feeling? I have sensory issues to do with textures and feelings so I just don't use sun cream because it makes me want to rip my face off lol! Any suggestions would be great

      I like skin aqua, the white bottle and gold bottle are both really good. They dry fast and leave no greasy residue, feels like you just splashed water on your face and left it to dry.

    • @Snuzzled
      @Snuzzled ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have sensory issues too! My three favorite sunscreens that feel like nothing on my skin: cerave ultra light spf 30, isntree hylauronic acid watery sun gel, anessa perfect UV skincare milk sunscreen n. The cerave is my favorite for spring and fall because it has zero scent but only spf 30, the isntree is going to leave a glowy finish but feels like nothing and is super affordable, and the anessa is expensive and highly fragranced but my go to choice for high humidity days because it is sweat resistant.

    As many are stating/questioning if this was an ad or not, is there a reason you are featuring only Fenty products? In your opinion, are they the most effective and financially efficient options available? If not, why only from one line? Thanks for explaining and providing more clarity as this unfortunately feels more like product placement/an ad to sell us something
