Somewhere, I have a picture of the last Trona Baldwin sitting on a flat car before it was shipped off. Loved going out in the desert out there. I have the pics of the old Water Tower at Searles also, shot full of holes but still standing. And yes, there is something about the late afternoon light out in the desert which makes the Trains pop in the distance. Nice Video.

Not usually. I used to post on flickr regularly but I've tended to just post to a private facebook page and occasionally on Trainorders, though I mostly just keep my photos to myself. My father has an instagram - instagram.com/all_red_at_rana/ so you can see his photos there.
@@RailfanJunction I wondered if you happened to remember the power for that intermodal that passed at 41:30 that met the Manifest in the foreground. It seemed like his engines were howling and you could still hear one of the turbos on one unit after the train had passed. Lol
Hello Looking from Japan I tried to find out what kind of place it is on Google Maps But everyone was a dead end Where and what does this freight car carry?
The coal cars obviously carry coal, the freight sodium sulfate, V-bor, Pyro, Soda Ash, BioCarb, Supo, and Boric Acid which a lot of Boric Acid goes to Japan
Found myself cheering for the train each and every time they blocked the crossing at Trona. A slow developing but well told story. Kudos!

15:40 crazy split. Also didnt realize that was an overpass. Cars seemed to go through the train even before the engines split off.
