The new palette has been filled with colors! Did one of your favorite colors make the cut? Take a look and let me know your thoughts on this palette. Cheers! :)

So far I am really enjoying this palette. It is compact, holds just enough colors, and looks nice. I am happy with it and would recommend it to others. Take care and thank you for posting a comment! :)

Thank you for your kind words. I am painting slowly but surely, perhaps will come up with another sketchbook tour video, not yet though lol. Have a great evening!

Very nice selection of colors! I have some of them and similar options for many of them. Quinacridone Coral is my favorite favorite color and has been since I was a little girl. I also have Mt. Amiata natural sienna. I also learned about it from Liz Steel. I love undersea green. Hansa yellow medium is my go to color. My main palette has all of the colors from my art instructors selection and I have learned how to use it very well and to mix with it well. But from time to time I veer out and use other colors. I especially love to sneak in some of the primateks to add granulation and magic you can’t create yourself. Especially in my landscapes, beach scenes etc. It also works well with old European buildings and ruins. I like your selections and look forward to seeing what you paint with it. 😊

Thank you so much for the kind remarks! It sounds like we share a lot of favorite colors. I agree, it is fun to veer out from time to time, to expand your horizons and test out some new colors (or go back to some old faithfuls). Stay tuned, we have a video coming up on our channel that features this new palette in action, it should be ready soon. Take care! :)

It is a nice palette, but is a bit on the pricey side. Thank you for taking the time to post a comment, I really appreciate it. Take care and happy painting! :)

Im jealous of the palette itself. As 16 colors has seemed to be the number i have landed on naturally. It gives me everything i need with still a few slots for wants or to try new colors. As i find when i have access to all my colors, i just end up using pure colors and way to many and my paintings just look off. Where now i have like 10 colors that are main stays that i known in amd out an can mix just about any color from, and then 3 colors that mostly stay and the other 3 i will switch out depending on what im doing.

Daniel Smith ultramarine dries down like a brick, i like to add a drop or two of glycerin, honey or gum arabic to prevent this. I adore monte amiata sienna and dusk pink, they are on my "any brand" palette. Thanks for the titanium grey swatch, I think I like this shade over my buff titanium. I will pick it up for comparison.

I really like the Titanium Grey. Irit Landgraf featured it in one of her videos about a year or so ago, and she sold me on it.

You need to try Winsernewton green gold......i find it much more useful as a range. Goes from a baby poop green "sorry only way i can describe it lol" to a wonderful powerful yellow in a wash. Also its awesome for mixing other greens or in place of yellow as the tinting strength is so high a little goes a long way. DS green gold i find to just be a sap green, a awesome color but one u can mix more easy than the WN version

I’ll have to check out the WN Green Gold, it sounds like a nice color!
