Thank you. This was very interesting. I'm traveling to Unazuki-onsen in a couple of weeks but am worrying about making the transfer from the shinkansen to the local train at Shin-kurobe station. I thought I could buy the tickets on the local train (unmanned station). But do you have to buy from the ticket office like you show in the video? There is only 7 minutes to make the transfer so I'm worried I won't have time. I really enjoyed your visit to the onsen. I would have liked to visit, too, but the climb is too strenuous for me. I thought it would be difficult and your video confirmed it. However, the onsen looks beautiful. If I were younger, I'd definitely try to go. This was a wonderful video!
Thank you for watching this video! And I am glad to hear your comments! I think you can make it if you have 7 minutes for the transfer. Because when you exit the Shinkansen ticket gate and cross the street, you will see the local train station in front of you. Prepare cash in advance so that you can buy train tickets smoothly. It is indeed a bit of a challenge, as you have to go up and down the stairs for about 15 to 20 minutes. We originally planned to go to Nekomata station to see the spectacular view, but due to the earthquake we could not go. After checking the official website, it seems that we can go to Nekomata from October, so it might be a good idea to go there to see the spectacular view of Nekomata instead of the hot springs! Please try to go there instead of me! Haha
