    To become the ultimate fighter:
    1. Learn Muay Thai for the powerful strikes
    2. Learn Tae Kwon Do for the fast kicks and flexibility
    3. Learn Krav Maga for the street fighting knowledge and against weapons.
    4. Learn Brazilian Ju-Jitsu for the ground fighting techniques.

      You need to become good at whatever suits you temperamentally and physically. This could be grappling eg judo/wrestling or striking eg karate/boxing.Or combining a striking and grappling art. Attitude and application are more important than any specific martial art however you need to be able to cope with wide-spread attacks/situations. eg Traditional Japanese Jiujitsu is a total fighting system including armed and unarmed techniques . Reality is paramount NB MARTIAL means pertaining to WAR not SPORT.

      Jujitsu is good , but Judo and catch wrestling are also good alternatives for learning a good grappling base , Muay Thai and boxing are outstanding striking base, next is weapons Kali and eskrima or Spanish blade fighting or rapier and dagger are hands down awesome weapons styles.

    is it just me, or does it feel awkward punching in a Muay Thai stance compared to punching in a boxing or karate stance?

    • @kasjones2146
      @kasjones2146 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it does but from what I've been taught the Muay thai stance is more focused on guarding leg kicks as well as punches and elbows. Boxers take a stance that's specifically done to deliver stronger punches and avoid getting punched, however the legs are pretty much exposed (which is understandable since kicks aren't allowed in boxing)
