my sleeper pc in my basement workshop.
Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 16gb DDR4 2666mhz
GPU: Asus GTX 1050ti
Motherboard: MSI B450M AM4
PSU: EVGA 500 BR
SSD: Crucial 500gb nvme
HDD: Some old 500gb WD blue
Case: MDG Horizon 2400
Monitor: Dell E550 CRT
Keyboard: Some old MS Ergo keyboard I found at a thrift store for like $4
Speakers: some old altec lansing speakers
the OS is windows 10, what programs were used to make it look like XP is stardock curtains + open shell

Nice! I built one of these for my cousin back in the early 10's so it wouldn't get stolen. I used an IBM Aptiva. Somebody broke into his room and stole his Xbox instead.

Thats honestly the only use for old junk systems i could think of. Use their retro cases and put modern hardware in it.
