Also people don’t also under stand how much drainage costs for every fitting, bend , manholes and lengths of pipe ! I love your content and workmanship. I have done a few extensions and my dad was a machine driver and ground worker so always helped me. He was always insistent on getting all groundwork done with footings if possible. I think this shows why! We even had holes done and boarded or loose filled with shingle before just to be hand dug at a later stage.

A tip for DIYer's, to achieve a 1 in 40 fall for sewage pipes..take a 2 meter spirit level and tape a 50mm block of wood to one end, be sure to put the block on the low end of the pipe and read the bubble as level, the same principle can be applied to any type of fall, for patio etc.

I have a old pipe cutter that I was given from a friend who is now retired that slides down your 100mm pipe and as you spin the handle not only does it cut, but it puts the taper on the end too.

@@SteveAndAlexBuild It's a Rothernberger pipe cutter not if you can buy spare blades still??
It clamps on the outside of your pipe and line up the point of the blade depending on which side you want the leading edge of your pipe and off you go. Spinning the handle and tightening the blade into the pipe each turn, I am using to as we speak and had other people try to buy it off me but not parting with it. Takes on average 6 full turns to have a pipe cut and ready.

lads why didnt you run the drainage under the slab ? Would have saved all that digging and looks miles better. Also not to be picky, you connected the mini chamber wrong. You should be coming into the centre of it as this is the main feed and is a tad lower than the side feeds. Building control should pick that up.
