I own this guitar 3 years ago and still in used, i would definitely recommend this guitar to any beginner or intermediate player. I suggest to do a luthier setup first so it will be perfect. The first thing is the neck felt soooooo comfortable in my hand( slim tapper D shape and satin finish on the back) , the acoustic sound is decent but the pre-amp sound was really out sanding. Overall it a great value for the money

@@inesgalvao1440 A guitar can usually have it’s string height adjusted unless it is defective. A good music store should generally do this for you for a nominal fee. The action on mine was fine.
DR Epiphone. I did call my Sweetwater sales engr Rob. I bought the all solid wood AJ45S 2 days ago. Paid 10 bucks xtra to FedEx to get it before Christmas. How cool is that? I started playing 70+ years ago. I own a nice Mrtin but wanted a backup guitar. Hope the AJ45 lives up to the hype! And the FedEx folks don't smash it enroute.

Agreed..need to hear it unplugged. Even looking for an electric guitar you should play it unplugged..tells you much about the woods used ..If it sounds bad unplugged, an amp won't help it..

Because of the cutaway. I'm struggling to make a choice between 220s and 220sce at the moment. I love the way a guitar with a cutaway looks, but the non-cutaway model sounds a lot warmer and fuller.
Hey! im from argentina and im looking for a versatile guitar(to play indie, rock or bluse), low action to play with a piano, so it must be loud. Im between takamine g320, epiphone aj 200 or epiphone hummingbird. facu, estuve buscando mil modelos de guitarras por todos lados y no quería comprar nada sin antes probarlas porque varía muchísimo las opiniones de cada uno sobre cada guitarra. por ejemplo en mi opinion la ej200 me resulta muy dura para el bennding. me terminé comprando la que mas me gustó de todas las que probe es blandita, poca distancia entre cuerdas y mástil, mic fishman, espectacular viola muy barata! es la CORT MR 710 F. guitarron!!

Pase por banda de modelos de guitarra acustica, al punto de que primero me decidi por una cort 810, despues la Earth 70E... dije bue, ya esta. Despues vi a la Epiphone EL00PRO, me gusto, pero escuchandola bien, conclui que el sonido digamos no es el que busco, es mas para fingerpicking, blues. Despues me decidi por la Epi Texan 1964, que no la pude conseguir en ningun lado en stock, nada de nada. Ahora estoy viendo la Dove Pro, (me detuve a ver la AJ-220S también) y ahora que vos me decis esto, estoy viendo la Cort Earth 100. Me habia olvidado de las corts! y ahora que la veo suena barbaro... Hoy le decia a un dueño de la Dove, es como un parto esto boludo, osea, una guitarra nueva es como un hijo, estas preocupado por cada detalle de cómo va a ser todo.

There are 2 of them. One is the original that saunds good. And the other is a cheper copy, that saunds orible. I haved one the copy. But i didint nuet after a frend has the original. At distans they look the same. color natural sitka and all! But looking it closely you will see that some dody is cheting us. And wen i play my frends one it blow my head of. The big diferent. I ended saling my aj 220 of sheet!

Why do Acoustic Electric sound kinda different from a regular acoustic?
