The line really picked up Imo in Wave 2. Wave 1 had many similar feeling figures, until each wave started having more and more unique designs and parts.
4:46 Thew actually got the normal one and mistook it for the chase variant in his video, however you can still get the chase figure if you buy the whole wave (source: it has happened to Diaclona twice now)
Classic Class Sentinel Prime is probably my favorite Blokees that i own, its so ungodly accurate to the movie, it can pose like a dream, and it has two modes!!!! thats batshit insane
I would love for the company to expand beyond G1 and the movies. I think Transformers Animated would look great in the Blokees aesthetic. Especially since Animated toys are in a weird spot where the original toys capture the stylized look very well, but are dated in terms of articulation and being loaded with intrusive gimmicks (the voyager Optimus's spinning waist comes to mind). Meanwhile, the Legacy toys are great updates in terms of articulation and transformation, but the "G1-ification" of the designs are not to my taste. Blokees could give me the stylized, well articulated figures of the Animated characters that I've always yearned for.
Honestly Blokees's line might be one of the best series of third-party releases we've gotten in a while. Really want to get the Galaxy sets and ESPECIALLY and Classic Series figures for the TF One cast. Seriously Classic Prime and Megatron are, IMO anyway, the best figures that exist of those designs out there (outside of the Yolopark ones but then again the Blokees ones are half the price)
The switch-up from the fandom with non-transforming toys makes me happy. I also LOVE them being blind boxed. Simply because I never would've given the characters I got (Inferno and Slag) a chance if I hadn't gotten theses ones. I like them significantly more now. :)
I've seen a good chunk of your videos before on a whim because I was bored and I definitely love your content both yours and that toy guys. But I am terribly sorry that you are not the first person I've heard who talked about these great little figures that honor goes to that toy guy but you put so much detail and so much energy into your videos that I figured I'd give you a watch especially when it's involving these cute little things. And speaking as someone who is a gundam fan and as someone who used to own bionicle's growing up...... Now I can finally have my own little super robot war continuity and have some Transformers fighting with some gundams!
4:34 Me too, Dr lockdown. Used to have Lego Deadpool to show off the kids back in middle school most of them I share stupidly but they never give back my minifigures, rip Lego Deadpool. Nice painted nails 💅
I cannot agree with your views on Shockwave, but every thing else is spot on. The Blokees figures almost make me think the g1 constructions look cool ha ha.
i got Red Alert & robot mode Slug at TFNation in Reading. They're both really fun. Also, Red & Sideswipe are the same molds sans helmets, plus they use the holes on the forearms for the doors
The secret of success is to release a inaccurate figure with missing accessories so that you can sell that figure and then later on a third-party company make a upgrade kit
I hope that Blokees could do model kits of the alt modes, like they did with the Dinobots. It’d be cool to see the with the Blokees aesthetic applied to them.
I went all in on the Transformes Blokees wave one and TF One wave and boy are these fun as hell. Walmart seems to be stocking these (and they aleady sold out the same week I saw them being put on shelves. I managed to snag the rare optimus from wave one and he is so damn fine. Fun fact they tease the next wave's cover figures on the inside of the box lid and I hear the wave after TF one will be including Super Megatron and Wheeljack.
I recently got my First Blokees, the Classics class optimus and megs from One. Ever since I put them together I can't stop playing with them, everything about them is nice I do want to get some of the blind boxes, the rest of the Classic class character from one, and 2007 optimus
How convenient, this video comes out right as I'm dipping into a big nice bunch of those guys I got today. Too bad here in Italy they're super rare to find out, as far as I know there's a single comic book store in the whole country that got them and I deliberately had to go there to buy them (I was already around the place for other reasons luckily)
I have 6 Blokees figures. I bought them at San Diego Comic-Con for $10. It wasn't until much later I realized I overpaid. They're such good figures that I thought $10 was a steal. I was apparently very incorrect. The ones I got were Starscream, Long haul, Mixmaster, the chase Grimlock, Skywarp, and Ratchet. I love Grimlock but I really don't like the chase version. It's nothing against the figure itself. I find it really clever how they make dinosaur modes out of mostly the same parts. I just don't like that he's the only shiny one. It makes him stand out more than I'd like. But out of the ones I got, my favorites are byfar Long Haul and Mixmaster. I really love how stylized they are. I never realized how boring most of the Constructicon designs were until I compared them to the Blokees versions. Needless to say, I've got the bug.
There's still a few more outings I think you may have looked over: Shining Version. They consist of select Galaxy version guys and some new molds/decos with a shiny paintjob and LEDs that similar to the Classic Class line. The Golden Lagoon line which...well it's exactly what you think it is however it does seem to only be a yearly thing And lastly the Action Edition Optimus where they take the model kit aspect of them to a new height. He also had a Golden Lagoon figure of himself this year. A Megatron is set to come out next year.
You might have already seen this news, but with the new Galaxy Commander super deformed versions, the vehicle mode scavenger seems to have ports for some form of devastator combination underneath, so perhaps it’s a case of get the Galaxy and Galaxy Commander teams and they somehow combine? I cannot wait to see how that turns out Also it seems the Chase versions just replace the respective character in every few boxes, I bought every series and got the Chase version of toy prime
I would literally give anything for these figures, alas, I doubt I'll win the giveaway, and I can't really afford figured anymore, these look stunning though

Look mummy, I got a shout out in a DrLockdown video...
What do you mean there's no wifi in the Pyramid?

Two seconds later :P
They did what R.E.D couldnt
Make a transformers figure that doesn’t transform but its actually good
Classic Class Sentinel Prime is probably my favorite Blokees that i own, its so ungodly accurate to the movie, it can pose like a dream, and it has two modes!!!! thats batshit insane

It's really cool to see so much good looking representation of these designs.

Thew didn’t get the chase, but you can get the rare variant in the full set
im getting mines today (the 2007 movie figs) Kinda hope they make more movie characters
I would kill for specifically Blockees Anode and Lug, Blockee's prime Knockout, and Blockees pretender Bludgeon.
To me the aesthetic of them is more closer to the decoys that came out in '86.
I cannot agree with your views on Shockwave, but every thing else is spot on. The Blokees figures almost make me think the g1 constructions look cool ha ha.

Or with more holes than Swiss Cheese.

They did start branching out into alternate modes, just in a smaller scale.

I’m patiently waiting for my Walmart to restock the Galaxy Wave 1 set so I can buy a crap ton more. Good luck on the giveaway everyone!

In Asia they’re everywhere in supermarkets bookstores ands toys r us at least
4:46 it happens to hobby the hong too
I shall call them "Gunplonicle"
They're really cool

There isn't a lot going on in the main lines so it's simply blokees being something to fill the void.
There's still a few more outings I think you may have looked over:

I'm not going over everything. Just what I have and what's sorta on the horizon. There's...a lot of blokees figures.

Happy birthday
Wow
Great video, as always. Seriously though, so many Guilty Gear references in one video, my god.
