  • Beating CPPS is a lot of work. But I did it in one year - and I think you can do it in six months. I put together all of my information - which you can get FREE (in exchange for a measly email signup) at www.CureCPPS.com.
    This video is an overview of what CPPS is, what causes CPPS, why doctors can't effectively treat CPPS, and how you can beat it yourself - forever.
    For everything you need to beat male pelvic pain - free, and not boring or technical - go to www.curecpps.com.

    After 4 months of testicular pains, rectum pains, and depression, I am eternally grateful for your videos. The stretches and walking are helping, I wish I knew about pelvic floor at the beginning. My urologist let me take over 100 cipro pills for months, my GP had no clue. Johns hopkins diagnosis of pelvis floor 2 weeks ago was the first I had even heard of it. I feel better mentally just knowing what the cause is and that it can be treated with stretching. Marijuana, klonopin, muscle relaxers helped, but now I know how to treat it. I was beginning to feel like there is no reason to exist if I cant even work or take care of myself. I'm beginning to see a light in the distance, but it's hard. At one point doing the crab stretch I got a sharp shooting pain in my left testicle which I hadn't had for a few weeks prior, and it almost made me give up, but I'm going easier on the stretches now, I do believe they are helping. Thank you for sharing your experience, and showing us what helped you.

      @@Jordanscff hi there 👋. The major pains have gone away mostly. Mornings are still rough, morning dump seems to kick in the condition, balls are so tight to my body when I get off the toilet, then i stretch and lay for 20 mins, take my shower and go about my day. Usually have a few moments of uncomfortableness through the day but I push through it and take it easy at the same time. I started working 3 months ago at a job I would have been ashamed of previously, but when your in pain your pride goes out the window. I'm actually really proud of myself for getting to where I can work a low stress job 25 hrs a week. In a few months maybe I'll feel ok doing 40, who knows, I just know I'm a year and a half into having cpps and im not going to let it ruin my life any longer. If it comes back it is what it is, you gotta live life, use the tools you acquire to deal with it. In my case, I almost never take ibuprofen anymore and for 6 months I took over 1000 a day. Marijuana helps, stretching, walking , eating good is major. I hope this helps someone

      Well I hope you can monetize this idea. A book would be great. Many would benefit from that. There’s a surprising amount of men going through this ordeal with a lot of conflicting information out there. I greatly appreciate the content of your website and especially how you broke it down into steps. I suffered for 7 years, had relief for 4, and had the symptoms return again recently. At first I felt depressed, hopeless and extremely isolated as if I couldn’t reach out to anyone and that no one else could possibly understand. Only to find out through my own research that not only are there others, but that there are such positive and selfless individuals out there such as yourself willing to share what knowledge you’ve obtained through your own experiences. I can’t thank you enough because I have a completely different outlook now, feeling hopeful about my situation. I’ve already felt a significant reduction in symptoms and have found gratitude in life where I may not have before. There are silver linings to these types of chronic pain, including self realization and growth. It’s also great how you inject some humour in. Thanks again. Best wishes to you and your family. Hope you find a way to cash in deservedly so, as your content will continue to help many people out of the dark. 🤘🏻

    When I first got CPPS I was really afraid I had cancer. When I was out on a weekend with friends a horrific pain struck my body. I went to a hospital but the doctors didn’t know what it could be. At first, I was very panicked because my PT had just declared me 'cured' two months ago. My symptoms were peeing every 20 minutes and constant pain. I started doing the exercises but my mind stayed in a constant stressed state. To tackle this problem I picked up the book: 'How to stop worrying and start living by Dale Carnegie'. This book gave me a new perspective and really calmed me down. Now two weeks I'm 75% better. I still have pain but now it's only for about 30% of the day and it's mild.
    I'm writing this comment to give you some perspective. Whilst I know that this is different for everybody do stick to the 'battle plan' you will get better in time. I'd like to thank Ian for giving this unknown condition a platform and a solution. Keep faith guys you will get better!

    You are my fucking hero for starting this. Definitely just gained a follower. I’m 26 and have been dealing with this for the last couple of years and didn’t have a real diagnosis until 6 months ago. I’m still in pain and feel depression coming on more and more everyday. I believe my biggest flaw is quitting smoking marijuana. Any thoughts on this? It has to be the #1 cause of my inflammation. I do need to eat better and exercise more regularly but I feel that smoking only makes things worse. It’s my only vice but I know I need to quit. Also, now that you’ve cured your CPPS, have you had any returning symptoms or pain? Look forward to hearing back. Thanks!!

      If you feel that smoking makes you feel worse, you're probably right. I haven't done enough research to know if it's chemical or psychological or both, but I know that eating a ton of sugar or now eating dairy (I believe I gave myself an allergy to whey) cause me big time problems. • @Moonless6491

      @luizmanso3451 Yes. I've correlated this with mind body syndrome/TMS and have been diagnosed with systemic IC and pfd as my bladder looks fine and so did MRI. Basically it's neurological and muscular caused by the nervous system. Basically the pain is created in the mind and perpetuated in the body. It's real pain, but becomes chronic. The brain can even restrict blood flow and cause tension because of emotions. It never had gone away but flares harder with stress. Look up Dr. Sarno for TMS theory. I too had this happen years ago and disappeared after a few weeks. But three years ago it started back and stayed. Both times were stress related

    • @CureCPPS
      @CureCPPS  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I don't think walking would make you feel as tight as running, but if you're not warmed up and stretched out, it can make you feel tight, too. Make sure to hit the calf stretch, double calf-stretch (TH-cam it - it's easy but you should hit the details right), hip stretch and some form of hamstring stretch.
      Also try to move through a complete stride as you walk. I used to take small steps because I was so stiff, and I hated walking because my lower back would hurt afterward. To counter this, try to push off your steps like you're speed skating, and make your strides long. Sometimes this takes a few minutes to "warm up" into.
      And if you can't do any of this for lack of time, your body will still thank you for moving instead of sitting.
      Thanks Daniel! I'll make more guides as soon as I can. I'm looking for new employment, so that sucks up a lot of my time.

Nkt sure if that's what I have, but it's worse when sit down, specially when I cycle (to the point I've been avoiding it as much as I can) and on leg day, as most of the exercises involve sitting down. Also when I lift weights I contract my pelvis so resistance training gets even harder, cause I end up concentrating on the pain it causes around my pelvic area than on the intended muscles. I love working out but lately not so much, because of that, and I fear it may make my pelvic problem even worse, whatever it may be... 😢

    Thanks for all your vids. Can I ask because I couldn't see the specific symptoms on your site, did you have a weak urinary flow and/or any dribbling after urinating? If yes did you manage to fix that too? I have a lot of symptoms of CPPS (perineum pain, testicle pain, bowel problems, back pain, intermittent frequent urination etc) I finally went to see a private Pelvic PT who did an exam and said I have pelvic floor problems but now I can't see her due to the lockdown. Because of the urinary symptoms (slightly reduced flow, post void dribbling) my dr/urologist is ignoring all the other symptoms and trying to push me to have a cystoscopy to see if I have a stricture. I'm so lost and don't know what to do, to be honest my faith in urologists is zero after dealing with this for 2+ years, so far they've been utterly useless and condescending every step of the way ("men don't get pelvic floor problems") so trusting them to do a examination with potential to cause more damage isn't a great prospect.

      Mate we're in that road.
      At least my urologist told me this: O will refer you to a pelvic floor muscle doctor in a near city. I've started therapy and some day I've felt better, yet it has been the only thing that haa given me hope.
      Try another doctor, alternative methods, diets, and videos like these and let's see where it takes us

      @CureCPPS  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow, your urologists told you that? That's a new low. I just made a symptoms video - maybe you've seen it. I didn't have dribbling, no. You may have prostatitis, which has several causes, but CPPS is the most common by far. So keep fighting. Try the routine.

    Hi and thanks for the great work you offer to us. Im suffering from tight pelvic floor muscles for few years now, which give me all symptoms of CPPS, especially a very uncomfortable and painful feeling on perineum. Im starting deal with your stretching exercises and for the first time get over 48 hours without symptoms after almost 2 weeks for the begging of that healing journey (I hope) . Whats your opinion about EMS devices with anal probe instrument, for pain relief on this area? Is that cause muscle relaxation or is gonna occur opposite effects? Thanks for your help

    Thank you for your encouraging videos. I have a question ; did your symptoms include trouble peeing or going into retention? My problems started 1.5 yrs ago with peeing frequently and suddenly going into retention and having trouble passing water. I've done MRI which shows inflammation around the prostate but my prostate is not enlarged and all the tests and parameters are normal. So now I've been given muscle relaxtants but without it I have problem peeing again. Dunno I recognize these symptoms or is this I'm experiencing not same as CPPS??Thank you so much.

    Hello I have some issues. I am a 20 years old male. Like weeks ago, I was having urgency to Urinate. I Urinated like 6-13 times. I went to get tests for UTIs or Kidney Stones. Tests were negative nothing was abnormal. When I urinate I feel like there's urine left in my penis so I have to strain or push to get the rest out. Sometimes It takes 3 or 4 seconds for urine to start even though I have urges. The stream sometimes comes in a straight line and I urine a lot and sometimes I don’t urinate a lot. Sometimes a little urine leaks in small drops. It happens whens I am done Urinating.I have like discomfort in urethra and sometimes I have like twitching or fasciculations inside my urethra. Before all these symptoms showed I had constipation, but It did not worry me because sometimes It goes away after a day. But I realized it lasted a a few more days. I also get trapped gas in my anus that I have to push, I did not had to strain to pass gas before. This is scaring me. I don't have any other symptoms like blood in Urine or fever.
