Tbh, her jokes and research wasn't bad. It was the general performance, nervousness and lack of quick thinking that was the issue. Just comparing her to actual Ariana on the judging panel kinda shows some things she could have fixed.

Her Judy Garland was amazing all together. The "is that my camera?" and her forgiving the veteran for "probably causing her death" was just so well prepared and done. I think she was so well prepared that she just went with it and had fun and it showed.

it's a shame for Chad because her Cher was the first true snatch game masterclasses, only for it to be dragged down so much by other performances
Forever outraged that Jackie Cox got essentially edited out of the Snatch game bc all the queens said everyone was literally rolling with laughter during the entire hour of filming but in the end Jackie was safe and they added only like 3 of her jokes.
She was HIGH and clearly would have won if not for Gigi. I hate that for her, she excelled but got unlucky every week, but it wasn't unfair.

Wow, I didn't imagine s10 being so low-ranked. Aquaria's jokes were all so good, Eureka was able to balance the bitterness coming from Beyonce and Blue Ivy, and Monet was fast to respond Moheart. I don't think it is as bad as S14 or forgetable as s11.
I agree. Aquaria and Eureka were outstanding. Aquaria did her homework. She brought amazing props. Her accent was amazing. She is in my top 5. Eureka was just hilarious. I guess people are just so turned off by the queens who didn't do well.

Okay, this bit of trivia is poking me. Aiden Zane is the only queen I'm aware of whose celebrity actually took to the press to disavow any connection (Aiden claimed to have had lunch with her) and to proclaim her hatred of this performance. Being a Rocky nerd, I followed the fallout closely.

The season 4 snatch game frustrates me because it could have been so good. The bottom row were so messy we didnt get to spend enough time with the legit good impersonations. If i remember right, they even cut out some of the good material to give a more messy edit. Theres a clip on youtube that shows willam pulling out a jessica simpson cutout and leaving; I wonder what else didn't make it into the ep.

I dont understand the criteria here. Season 5, most were flops, but Jinkx, Alaska, and Roxxxy were great! Great!
But Season 10, even though Aquaria was good, and Monet.... and Kameron was great, too... GARBAGE.
Honestly, theyre completely equal, so yeah, the nostalgia goggles are on there.
Aquaria alone made that Snatch Game a top tier
For me personally, season 5 has great performances and bad performances that lean into the “so bad it’s good” category.
Season 10 has some good performances, but for me the highs don’t equal Season 5’s highs. And the bad performances lean more towards the “so bad it’s hard to watch” category rather than the “so bad it’s good”.
But again, everything’s subjective. You might not feel that way and that’s totally cool.

I can say this Jinkx is definitely one of the funniest queens to ever be on drag race but I also really think Gigi Goode’s alone saved the one on season 12 it is one of my all time favorites but I’m a big fan of dry humor😂
I loved season 10 I thought aquaria and Monét absolutely killed it. Like the trinity, Mariah Carey lost the key, and it’s alright barrack, and any hole is a goal were all so good

My biggest issue with Snatch Game of Love is I do feel you need the desk because the queens feel literally more exposed
but on the flip side of that, it allows for queens to do more physical comedy like Jimbo and Heidi today which is cool
My issue is it's easier to rig against certain queens. Kahanna didn't do great but what kind of a question is "what colour wedding dress would you wear?"

Kylie should've won snatch game for AS6 as Dolly Parton. She kept up with Ginger and went further than she did imo. Plus it would've just made so much sense for a storyline to! Kylie went home on the first ever snatch game and she wins it when she returns? It's when you realise you really miss the top 2 winners format from A2-A4. The lipsync assassin format has run it's course.
