Philosophy is my third choice considering wealth and job opportunities, but if I got payed whatever I wanted or if money did not matter in society, philosophy would be my number one along with math. I'll probably use this 5 years later or 15 years later, either when I'm choosing what to study, or when I get tired of life and finally decide I want to study philosophy lol.
Philosophy majors are critical thinkers and problem solvers which are needed in the workplace. If your market yourself right, you can land higher management positions. Yes, the click bait worked lol! I'm thinking of getting my PhD in Philosophy.
Wow it's amazing to know that the click bait worked, haha, and yes I agree. But you do need to market that right and doing that 'right' is pretty difficult in my opinion. I have no doubts about the fact that philosophy majors are equipped with highly valuable skillsets, but it's just that it is not readily apparent.
