Huge props to Hajime's voice actor though. I was watching a TH-camr play this and when I first heard him scream (12:14) and shouting in anger (17:55) from the realization and unable to drip the reality, I had to rewind it ALL, the voice acting is amazing.

They practically risked their lives for Hajime and class 77. In Future Arc, Makoto was to be executed by the Future Foundation because he prevented them from killing remnants of despair and gave them a second chance in the neo world. Hajime is alive thanks to Makoto. Hajime is much more selfish, so it makes sense that he doesn't want to sacrifice himself for someone like Makoto.

17:53 im about a year late BUT i have a theory as to why hinata reacted like this. since naegi and komaeda have the same va in both versions, hinata probably heard komaeda in naegi (lucky student talking about true hope, literally textbook komaeda), not to mention the fact that naegi said hinata's name in the same, somewhat whiny tone komaeda always said it in. its likely that hinata still wasnt over what komaeda did and naturally had some leftover anger directed at him, on top of being completely overwhelmed because of the discovery of him sharing a body with kamukura. thats obviously not to say that hinata hates komaeda now or anything; it makes sense that hed still be emotionally vulnerable over everything thats been happening. but thats just my take on how hinata acted towards naegi and how he responded to him trying to coax him into doing the shutdown

17:53 im about a year late BUT i have a theory as to why hinata reacted like this. since naegi and komaeda have the same va in both versions, hinata probably heard komaeda in naegi (lucky student talking about true hope, literally textbook komaeda), not to mention the fact that naegi said hinata's name in the same, somewhat whiny tone komaeda always said it in. its likely that hinata still wasnt over what komaeda did and naturally had some leftover anger directed at him, on top of being completely overwhelmed because of the discovery of him sharing a body with kamukura. thats obviously not to say that hinata hates komaeda now or anything; it makes sense that hed still be emotionally vulnerable over everything thats been happening. but thats just my take on how hinata acted towards naegi and how he responded to him trying to coax him into doing the shutdown

Sdr2 will probably always be my favorite. I think about it's ending the most. It's exestentially disturbing in a way I feel no other game in the series managed to capture.
