Ape$hit ending - loved it I would have ended the story at 4:17 and not show anything from the real world. - maaaybe leaving some scenes after the credits because that image of hajime fading into the white nothingness is kinda beautiful - its like "even if i dont know the outcome, im fine with this story" - keeping us from seeing the awakened state kind of reinforces the theme because we as the audience wouod have to make the jump of faith, and thats what the characters do essentially. Its the same leap of faith that ocurrs at the end of the last game but in a different context.

In the DR3 anime it's Junko that orchestrates the whole thing, Kamukura just kinda watches and then kills the last surviving student for some inexplicable reason. Maybe he wanted to try it because it looked like fun? Or, well, he hoped it would alleviate his boredom I guess. I legit laughed out loud at 4:01 the first time I saw that while playing lol. And when Sonia said "I do not want anymore last minute plot twists." Sadly there were quite a few of those lol. Seriously I hate her guts but Junko herself is kind of hilarious, especially here. Even after a few years, this series really gives me this strange feeling. It's like, with me, for movies/TV shows. It's over. There's never gonna be a continuation and it is an end for characters. I love this series, and I *hope* it doesn't die completely. Ever
