MIRACLE LIFE PROJECT
This is and will be my most important project of my life.
The BACKGROUND
I told you in May I was pregnant for 5 months and showed happy tears. Oh how I was enjoying having this miracle inside me🥰. Little did I know that just one month later I would already have him in my arms.
At 27 weeks my water broke and the rollercoaster started. Days in the hospital of bedrest, medicine, check ups, heartscans and echos followed. The days turned into weeks and our miracle wasnt having fun anymore, it was time to get him out. Within 45 minutes Tigo was born with an emergency c-section. They almost immediatly took him to another room to stabilize him. Because the operation did not go as planned, it took a while for me to go see him. There he was, in incubator with all these wires and oxygen. But he is the most beautiful baby boy I had ever seen. The love I felt was like none other. I started to speak to him and he moved his arm, like he wanted to reach for me. This moment, is the most powerful thing I have ever experienced.
From the first minute born, he was fighting, improving & growing. After one week in NICU he was ready and could go to another hospital for post intensive care at. With countless of hours kangarooing, celebrations & milestones, we are now 6 weeks further. He has doubled in weight, breaths on his own, regulates his temperature and drinks. Everyday we are in the hospital to be with him and enjoy every precious second of our miracle. We still have a way to go, before we can bring him home. But he is here, thriving and making our lifes full. Little one, this one is for you💙.
The PROJECT:
When babies are born and open their eyes, they dont see what we see. They see contrast and shapes. First they will start seeing is red & green and after that yellow & blue. They can stare at these colors for hours. I created this artwork for Tigo, for him to stare at, to calm down and see the most vibrant colors life has to offer. I will be painting a series of these paintings and making 100s of prints out of them. They will be given to NICU & NEO parents when released from hospital.

I am an acrylic pouring addict, without a doubt. Playing with colors, testing out new fluid art techniques, brands, sizes & collaborating with other abstract fluid artists; is the best. Since I started this journey I feel more balanced in my work and passion. If you see these fluid painting tutorials and feel like, this is something for me: go for it! The fun thing about fluid painting is, that even though you do exactly the same, the outcome is different everytime. Also everybody has a different view of composition, colorcombinations and the way of doing a technique, what makes and keeps it so interesting to watch. Rindless I have watched you for as long as you have been on TH-cam. I love what you do and I was so happy when you got engaged and then here comes a beautiful baby. I am sorry for the problems you have had to go through but you still have your baby and I hope to this date he is doing better. My daughter went through pretty much the same thing and it is hard to go through for anyone. Hang in there it will get better and I pray your baby will do as well as my daughter. Her baby has a small amount of CBP but she is now 28years old and writes for TV shows. So keep positive and no matter what you will love him forever. Thank you for sharing your story.

Wow, your creativity and passion are inspiring. I admire your heartfelt gifts given to other families with babies in NICU. Today, my 4th baby is 42, I was advised to abortortion. Several Dr's did not think we could survive the pregnancy due to previous cesarian complications. Thank you for sharing our journey. Your little Tigo is a lucky boy to have such a kind caring Mother.

Tigo is the luckiest to have a mother who understands and researched the first colors a baby can see and how calming and muted or vibrant they can be. He will be a color loving, knowledgeable boy.
