- Long time ago that I did a Split Color Painting. Never done one in Botanical style. So today is the first. When tweaking the acrylic paint to create the leaves, I really needed to think about it, since I had two basecolors to drag through the design. The Silverlining is the final touch and I love how natural it all looks. I must say I was not over the moon with this painting, but it is really growing on me now it is totally finished. I will add a high gloss varnish to top it off.

Good lawd, this is a gorgeous piece, one of your bests. Yup. A stunner! Yes that blue is spotlight but the white does it justice. No. It is goldilocks just right. 😃 yu drawing that color down into the lines in the blu around 'petals' makes the white appear soft, cottony, pretty, delicate and frosty...all at once. Like you I love the Prussian blue side. Perhaps on the next one the arch needs to be closer to center but still off centered. Your blows out are always amazing. The silver touches in the center, truely make the colors pop.
