[Jomon pottery production] "Making flame-type pottery" 2. Open burning (firing)

- The second process of making flame-type pottery.
This time, it is a state of open burning performed at "Umataka Jomonkan" at the Umataka ruins in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, where "Flame-Style Vessels" was excavated.
Unlike kiln firing, it is a one-day work with a large number of people, which is made possible by being blessed with a lot of firewood and the weather.
Because it's difficult, the joy of baking is also great ...
The fun of open burning is that you can get a glimpse of the earthenware that changes in the flames.
This time, I edited the flames rising high and the appearance of being slowly burned over charcoal without using double speed.
Please take a look slowly if you like.
★ Not a replica production ★
In the first place, there is not enough technology (;'∀'), so it is difficult to make it exactly like the original excavated item. However, we aim to create earthenware that allows you to feel the "beauty" of the original while making imitations.
