    Very good description and I like the way you show the instruments from close, so that one does not make a mistake.

    How do you hand knit without a clasp? Can you explain how to start and end a long beaded necklace like a mala with a guru bead or tassel etc, please!!

    I have a pearl necklace that was my grandmother's. If I took it out jeweler it would be very expensive, what would I do / thread needed to do it myself? One beader told me to cut it up and make various pieces out of it. It is over 30in long.i like it as is, just want up date it so I wouldn't be able to lose any. Thank for your help. Ur instructions are always clear.

      Hi Karen! The carded silk is 2 yards long. Plenty to hand knot a 30 inch necklace! The needle is already attached so you are good to go!

    I am not sure how you finish off the first demo. I see how you put on the lobster claw but how do you add the jump rings to the other end?

    • @JewelSchool
      @JewelSchool  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi! To add a jump ring to the other end: leave the last 4 beads/pearls loose. Run the needle and cord through the jump ring and then back through the pearls, repeating the process of adding the clasp at the beginning.

    It would be great if you could do up close shots to really show the detail of what you are going. The up close videos you do are not really close enough.

    Your table and mat are too light and the lighting shining on your table are too bright making everything washed out and hard too see. What we see is mostly your dark shirt and the necklace around your neck.
