I know right! We were being the Delta's on this trip LOL opps. Yeah, I'll never say no when Tyler breaks that thing out. I could sit and watch it all day long.
Great video, good jokes good company, great views and my 3 favorite vlogers. Hope Hermit keeps producing videos now he's companionless. Cheer guys good stuff
Thank you sir! Hope you are doing well. I can't wait to watch myself go down the famous steps in part 2. Now that was in the top 2 scariest things I've done on a dirt bike.
I'm doing good thank you. Just finished my second semester with straight A's on my return to school. How's the new home treating the two of you? I can't even imagine the pucker effect doing those gnarly sections on a bike. I've been on those roads in a Jeep, but when I see them on the TH-cams, all I can think of is whiskey throttle nightmare...
Thanks. Going for Safety Engineering Technology, (safety management). I looked up how far you are from WI the other day, to see if it was worth trying to ride over next summer. Google says it's 10 hrs, (unless I go through Canada... then it's 16.5 hrs) damn it looks closer than than on a map. I mean it's only a finger length on a map. At least you have hills and mountains there. WI is insanely boring.
OMG Thanks so much for the video. I was going to get a 250 in two days and after watching this I'll get a 450. At 235#, I don't think I'd enjoy the sluggish ride.
I was on the fence about the intro music until now. Are you finding any good riding? Allegheny National Forest and the Hatfield McCOY Trails are definitely on my bucket list. The Shenandoah 500 was fun this year and worth looking into.
Ha! Well, it snowed which brought a pretty quick end to the season. I got a little road ride in on the AT up to Alleheny, but didn't get to do any exploring on or off road. Had to turn tail and run as dark was coming and I was already freezing my tail off.
Hey CDS, excellent video!! I'm sorta new to your channel and wanted to ask about your theme music, did you compose it yourself and how did you put it all together? I especially like listening to it with the drone footage on this vid and another where you flew the drone above an abandoned mine. Thanks man, you're very creative!! 👍👍
Hey man! It's actually a song that I picked up from back in the day when there were lots of royalty free music channels going around. However, they have all died off for the most part once TH-cam started cracking down on them. For some reason that is one of the only songs that I've used that never got popular and never gave a copyright strike, so I've stuck with it forever. Finding music that you can use with monitization is so hard.
Lucky you, that's cool!! I'll look forward to Black Bear Part II, that high country is frickin' amazing, I bet it's like being on top of the world. Watch out for wolverines!!
Great video! I never grow tired of seeing that area. For the drone footage at the end, did 3 of you re-run Black Bear with the 4th rider drone piloting (up the trail I assume)?
That was a little trickery on my part. That is actually a guy we met up by the sign riding a KTM. I thought I would just let people believe it was Tyler HAHA! The XR250 is red, so it kinda looks like it. That guy knew eveRide and had heard of me and Hermit. Kinda cool meeting someone like that out on the trail.
I didn't suspect it was Tyler, but it's hard to make out from the video. I was just thinking the tracking is really damn impressive on that drone, so how did you do it? Haha, now I know the secret. Well played, sir. :)
awesome trail there mate, cool how all the 4x4's aren't dicks and let you guys pass ay. I actually get to watch these on the big screen now and in HD. It so awesome, great scenery for it too.
I'm guessing alabama dual sport is referring to the fact that Hermit hasn't posted anything on TH-cam or even on Facebook since early September. Some of us are sort of wondering what happened to him. Maybe he is pouting since his trusty sidekick, "that CDS feller" moved away. I don't like to admit it but I miss hearing his grumpy whining and complaining. ;-) Thanks for posting the video!
But they are sooooo slllloooowww! Also, this trip there were 10x more then I've ever seen out there before. We must have picked the right weekend to wait in traffic.
Most people on that trail were nice. The drone shots never get old! Amazing scenery!

Good hearing the banter between you guys again. Plus the always great scenery.
Thank you sir! Hope you are doing well. I can't wait to watch myself go down the famous steps in part 2. Now that was in the top 2 scariest things I've done on a dirt bike.

We're doing well. Still don't really feel like we own this place yet LOL. Congrats on the A's! What are you back in school for?

Great video! Thank you!
Doesn't Black Bear Pass have a really gnarly spot?! Cant wait to see more, great stuff.
Yessir! A very nasty step section. One wrong move and it's end game. Next week!

WOWW Super ride 👍👍👍👍 THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO
Sweet drone shots at the end! Nice
Oh, forgot the 5 star ratings. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very cool, I enjoyed the ride. Again, great video quality. 👍🤘🏻👊🏻✊🏻🏍🏍🏍
Thank you sir! glad you enjoyed it!
What a beautiful day awesome. I think I've done Black Bear backwards more then the rite way.
Really? It's one way from Teluride though.....
ColoradoDualSport we would do backwards because it's harder that way lol
Let the games begin. The landscape is gorgeous, the riders not so much. Stay safe
My 3 favorite DS nuts
Hahaha! Yessir!
Sweet. Intro song full version at the end.
That was just the second part ;-) It's a long song.
How do you get to ride this trail and could I ride a dirt bike that’s not street legal there?
I was on the fence about the intro music until now. Are you finding any good riding? Allegheny National Forest and the Hatfield McCOY Trails are definitely on my bucket list. The Shenandoah 500 was fun this year and worth looking into.

Merry Xmas. Ride safe my 2 wheel friends and happy trails.
Thank you sir! Merry Christmas!

Looks like a good time
That whole trip was a blast. Thanks man.
Why are there so many jeeps there? Looks like most of the terrain could have been tackled by my sedan
Watch part two...the second part is why this trail is a black diamond difficulty.
awesome ride and video
liked (thumbs up)
Thanks man, glad you enjoyed it.

CDS... ever test ride the super tenere?
I have not had the chance yet! Are you looking at getting one?
ColoradoDualSport. Its between the tenere and Africa twin. Undecided
Wait for the AT Adventure Sport
I;ve heard that they will be limited edition. Do you have one on pre-order Lurch?
ColoradoDualSport That would be silly of Honda. I haven’t given up in my 690 yet. Just bar risers and streetier tires on.
awesome trail there mate, cool how all the 4x4's aren't dicks and let you guys pass ay. I actually get to watch these on the big screen now and in HD. It so awesome, great scenery for it too.
great video. I love that we can hear all the riders. But it's very hard to actually hear the other guys over the bike. Not that you can help that. lol
Yeah, when you get three throttle happy guys it gets a bit hard to hear, but like you said, I can't really do anything to fix that. Thanks man!
ColoradoDualSport awesome video video still. I'm from Alabama and absolutely love the landscape out there. Keep up the good work
It would help if you'd give GPS coordinates at trailheads. As usual, great vid. You guys have way too much fun. Stop it.
Haha! No, I'll never stop that! If I used a "real" GPS I would do that, but I don't carry anyting but my phone with Osmand.
Did hermit really go underground?
Not sure what you mean....?

Thanks for posting the video!
noyopacific you are correct sir
ColoradoDualSport what noyopacific said
You got a drone now and played techno at a faster speed.
That's Tyler's drone footage and the music is at the normal speed, just a different part of the song ;-)
ACID BURNS.
You'll wake up looking like two face if you sleep there!
ColoradoDualSport cannibalism permitted
Stick with giving all glory to Christ and you'll be fine...Mary is in heaven and doesn't hear people on earth...excellent videos...
lordy.. on Jeep trails complaining about the Jeeps...
But they are sooooo slllloooowww! Also, this trip there were 10x more then I've ever seen out there before. We must have picked the right weekend to wait in traffic.
