We want to compliment you on your recent body of work. Extremely impressive, both the raw effort you’ve been putting in as well as the talented film making. Thanks for taking us on so many exciting adventures. Rob and Chrissy
Love your vids! A suggestion, especially when vlogging big events like festivals, etc., wear a T-shirt that displays your TH-cam channel name. That way you advertise your channel to everyone that sees you. Make a brand out of your TH-cam channel, a logo, etc. Advertising is everything.
The energy and passion in this place is incredible! Thanks for covering this awesome event! Roxas City is surging!! Now I know why you'd want to live there.
That looked like a lot of fun. Lots of entertainment and I love the tradition costumes. It is great to see the young people still doing trational things. More fun in the Philippines. This is the best country to retire in.
Wow Michael.......another great expos'e of what the fabulous Philippines has to offer Culturally and so much respectful happiness that thrives within the communities. I sincerely hope it is never lost to commercialisation. Great work again Buddy!! 👌👌
Small village to larger cities, there is nothing much like a Philippine Fiesta! We have attended a few on Negros, now we need to venture out to other islands for Fiesta!!! Thanks for sharing your experiences 🎉
Ya they are having a good time. 4 o'clock Filipino time maybe...lol... Thumbs up to Jack in the Peace Corps 👍...Lots of fun there, definitely, thats a big fiesta. That was quite a production. Glad you caught the last of that fiesta, it was enjoyable to see. Thanks for sharing, Michael...Jim
you are so lucky experience that , i born in capiz but almost 8years never be home. i hope one day i got my vacation to experience it all. from mississauga canada
Hi Michael I never made it to the concert it was over. I was helping and watching some folks building a float for the parade. It was nice to see you on Saturday. The whole weekend was amazing. Saturday night sat on the beach had dinner watching the concert. It does not get any better than that. Keep the great videos coming. Love Roxas City
Looks like a county fair and parades on steroids, plus a fireworks show that nearly burned the place down lol. Can’t wait to visit the Phils. Just so much to see. Thanks for showing local culture 👍 Appreciate your hard work thanks Michael
brother you look like that guy from game of thrones that lannister guy.. welcome to the Philippines! you chose the right country more power to your vlog!
Hey Brian, my I and my Filipina wife are retired and live most of the year in the Philippines. We enjoy your vlogs. We are surprised that none of your Filipino friends has not told you that the word MABUHAY means WELCOME. Not hello. If you are entering a resort they may say MABUHAY, but no Filipino says MABUHAY when you enter a resort or home or are saying hello to people on the street. KUMUSTA is appropriate. "koo moo STAH). Just thought we should let you know. Best wishes!
When I look it up it says it means wishing someone a long life? And I have lots of videos where I'm greeted by that when I enter places. Maybe because tourism has been using the term often now.
Joe is a term of endearment from Filipinos. The Americans liberated the Philippines from Japan. Joe is what foreign men black or white are called. From G.I. Joe.
Random question but is it advisable to not wash your face in the showers of hotels in the Philippines, in case you get it in your mouth? should I buy one of those gravity camping shower things and fill it up with clean store bought water and use that to wash my head and face and brush teeth?
I can't imagine ever going to those lengths, I've tested the water out of taps in a few places some met USA standards and some below but none had levels so bad I would go to these lengths
@@Foden5354you make it sound like water is so bad in the Philippines. We grew up drinking water from wells we dug near the river in the country side, it's spring water, so delicious!. When I moved to Manila we drank from the tap. Never heard of anyone got sick, so I was shocked with your comment.
Just imagine we are working here in Manila and Luzon to fuel the economy while these Visayan people are doing nothing but party. How dare you. That's why I Am in separating Luzon to the other 2 islands. Luzon is 70% of the Philippines' economy. Only if Visaya and Mindanao would contribute more. Bakit ba natin pinapasan ang dalawang islas na yan. 😡
To be honest the Western visayas has the largest GDP growth of any region in the Philippines, tourism is a big and growing economy as well. "Western Visayas recorded the highest economic growth rate among all regions at 9.3 percent, exceeding the national average of 7.2 percent."
I always love being in the Philippines manners and beautiful smiles
Thank you for loving your stay in Philippines
