I bought a Browning 725 12 gauge Feather with 26 inch long barrels. Use Tru-lock ported blackened stainless steel extended chokes of improved cylinder and improved modified constriction. My all around shotgun I love.
I’m disappointed browning gave me a $2 cardboard box to open to see my new $5000 725 and yet my new $2500 Maxus 2 semi auto last fall came in a hard moulded plastic case. Pitiful when a company’s more concerned about saving money over customer satisfaction. I prefer the sporting forend and 32” tubes
My late 2021 725 S is exactly the same as this gun, i really like the schnabel fore end on mine. Some schanbels look like chunks of turned wood while others are too thin and dainty (CG Summit sporter). I cannot fault the one on my 725.
Had my 725 MK2 for 5 years, the ONLY thing I don’t like is the forend, that trap version looks perfect. Love the black details very much. Are those chokes different, i.e NOT DS ones anymore?
* Did I hear correctly that the 725S ( sporter ) has a trap forend? What forend is on the 725? What is the maximum drop of the adjustable comb, and how much adjustment is available?
@@robbierabby1848 * The point I was trying to make is the gun that David was revealing was the 725S ( Sporter ), and it had the trap style forend. Why?
Thank you for the presentation, I like this shotgun a lot I have read that many 725s fail on the second shot, has the problem been corrected? Between this one and the silver pigeon 1 sporting which one do you recommend? THANKS
I really wish they offered this model in the states, our models don’t have the 2-tone nor the beaver tail forend. Schnabels and flat silver thought for us unfortunately
I got the cxs citori and looking to get one of these. Im currently saving for the one my local gun shop has with ported barrels. Are their any pros or cons to the ported barrel version?
Not much different I think , used to be a big Browning supporter . I think they have lost the plot a bit , they don't even have a dedicated semi auto sporter ! which is really bad ,I have gone back to the good old Krieghoff K80 / K32's the dogs doodahs. 👌🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I would have thought unboxing a new gun we would be able to see . Otherwise why bother . Another thing when you shoot just show a couple of shots of you shooting with out showing the targets . It would be nice to see how the gun fits you and the recoil . Thank you .
Browning quality really bad. I bought a 725 ProTrap Hi-Rib less than a year ago. Adjustable comb moves laterally no matter how tight you tighten the locking screw in the butt pad. Timber finish was woeful (blotchy). I sent it to Browning/Winchester Australia and they fixed...........nothing. Sent me a replacement gun and the timber finish was even worse. Fixed both issues myself.
Why the hell are you always in a super rush to changing the shells and reload - is it a race or something that I don't know about?. Friggen bizzar as in IMHO; slow and steady generally wins the race is fun to watch you though albeit looks completely stupid on your part LOL..
Yes there are lots of Browning Shooting Schools up and down the U.K you want to go to them not gun shops with out shooting schools you will get look after better. thanks TSC Team.
@@TSCTheshootingchannel ok, name a "Browning School ". Lots of independent grounds using Brownings (and Beretta), but that's the extent of it. Your ground isn't a browning! Poor form to be telling people not to go to their local gunshop aswell.
This gun really isn’t outstanding, yes they have blacked a few bits but really nothing new, it’s a 525 end of, I wonder how many more special editions and “new” reincarnation’s we’ll see from Browning on this long in the tooth gun?
No difference to the one I bought over a year ago. Great gun. Love it.
Yes!!! I love Browning!!!!!!
I like the trap ,beaver tail style

Just bought a 525 sporter laminate and love it. Really nice gun for the money
Was just thinking that it had been a while since David had uploaded a Browning video
I like that the slick sides of the action allow for any kind of engraving to personalize the gun.
A thing of beauty

I absolutely love my 725. The new one is really nice but not enough changes (thankfully) for me to buy the new model.
To seems to be a great value and would be a great first gun.
Although not a new gun as I saw it at the NEC in 2020 , I absolutely love mine which I bought in 2021 . Prefer the sporting forend and 30 in barrels.

@@FYMM69 in the UK the 725 has plastic moulded case and maxus has cardboard box!
I prefer the trap style forend and a palm swell in the grip in a sporter gun.
looks good I have one from 2018 great tool
I prefer the sports style thanks 🙏 I like the information you are giving thanks 🙏
It's beautiful 😍
You can’t see the box or gun in any close up detail
I have a 725 but wish it came with a trap forend. Still handles well though...
Nice looking gun, love the trap fore end.
Is the trap fore end larger ?
The fore ends are normally a little fuller then the Sporter fore end.
My late 2021 725 S is exactly the same as this gun, i really like the schnabel fore end on mine. Some schanbels look like chunks of turned wood while others are too thin and dainty (CG Summit sporter). I cannot fault the one on my 725.
Just bought a new 725 it came in a cardboard box u would think for 3k you could get a dam case.
Sexiest. I really really wish this gun was viable in Warzone. It’s such a sick gun
Inventor chokes or one of the more recent ones ?
Nothing substantive has changed in this shotgun in 50 years……………..thank goodness.
Had my 725 MK2 for 5 years, the ONLY thing I don’t like is the forend, that trap version looks perfect. Love the black details very much. Are those chokes different, i.e NOT DS ones anymore?
No, the same ds just black
what do you preffer this or the XS pro i find the trap style forend too wide of the XS pro but given the choice i would go with a 725 action
Could you do a comparison vid on the ATA Venza vs Franchi Affinity 3 please
* Did I hear correctly that the 725S ( sporter ) has a trap forend? What forend is on the 725? What is the maximum drop of the adjustable comb, and how much adjustment is available?
Sporter has the upswept snabel forend. I put the trap version on mine however.
HR sporting is one of a kind.

looks great

Hi the ported Chokes of bryley for the 725 produce leas recoil Transito the Originals?
Useful review but the final bit is missing, How Much £
$4,000.
Mat black barrels?
I really wish they offered this model in the states, our models don’t have the 2-tone nor the beaver tail forend. Schnabels and flat silver thought for us unfortunately
I certainly prefer the wider beefier beavertail forend vs the narrower forend but my girlfriend like most women shooters prefer the narrower front end
I held the new 725 here in the States yesterday. I liked it so much, I bought another Beretta 687 20 ga.
I think is terrific beautiful gun and that’s what I want how much with the 32 barrels 🙏👍✅
Barrel length? My brain says 30, but tell me what you recommend for sporting clay.

Did you say you were shooting Plastic wad cartridges? I thought the Oxford Shooting School was Fibre Wad only?
The Oxford gun company you can shoot anything and if the ground is a CPSA ground you can shoot plastic or fibre
@@TSCTheshootingchannel thanks for clearing that up, only some of your registered shoots state Fibre Wad Only
no porting? is that a USA thing?
In North America you get a cardboard box with the 725
And the barrels are ported . Which I hate.
Cost?

I dislike the 725, it’s too light for me. I really like the CX model, wish I didn’t sell mine.
Trap forend

Which model is this exactly?
B725 s
B725 SPORTER ADJUSTABLE TRAP FOREARM 12M
525 v 725 what’s the difference?
Basically, the 525 has a slightly deeper action and inertia triggers as apposed to the 725's shallower action and a mechanical trigger system.
That is a great film idea thanks you TSC Team
The 525 has been discontinued as far as I know.
