How to make these Salty, Sweet, CHOCOLATEY Caramel Rice Krispie Treats | Cupcake Jemma

- You may remember the OG Cereal Fun Bar from the Crumbs & Doilies Book.. WELL! Let us introduce you to the cool cousin that you absolutely need to make this weekend! Crispy, chewy, chocolatey squares with pockets of caramel and marshmallows - it really is as good as it sounds!
We used an 8" Square tin
CEREAL MIX INS
150g coco pops
60g of other chocolate cereals
40g cacao nibs
80g mini marshmallows
100g dark chocolate chips (50%
2 packets of Rolos
MARSHMALLOW MIXTURE
135g brown butter
280 mini marshmallows
10g cocoa powder
30g dark chocolate chips
¾ tsp salt
TOPPING
250 melted dark 50% chocolate
20/30g of melted white chocolate,
Finish with extra cereal & rolos

When I was a kid, one of the neighbourhood kids mothers would make “rice krispy” treats but instead of rice krispys she would use fruit loops. Omg,I loved them.

This looks amazing as usual, I'd add some pretzels or nuts just to balance the sweetness even some flakey sea salt ontop but definitely will be trying this recipe, i swear my sugar levels are through the roof because of Jemma(i have to try every recipe atleast once, that was a lie i have to try it a few times😅)
That's the beauty of this recipe, you can add in pretty much whatever you'd like!

But I must request Cupcake Jemma, can you please bring back the mindfulness/ healthy home baking series because this is all fun and yum to look at but very ultraprocessed and I don't really want the kids to be expecting me to make something so indulgent like this with them. @Ven0mousAc1d In Demark salted butter is more common. I ajusted the salt to 5grams (around half) and it turned out fantastic. Thank You for Your input 🙂

If kept in an air tight container, I'd say they can last a week 😊
Just keep them in a cool place and not on top of your oven as I did the fisrt time 😂
