110g Plain Flour
20g Caster Sugar
60g Melted Butter
1 tsp Water
Pinch of Salt
MERINGUES
60g Egg Whites
120g Caster Sugar
Pinch of Salt & Cream of Tarar
¼ tsp Vanilla
LEMON CURD
65g Caster Sugar
65g Lemon Juice
1 Egg & 3 Yolks
Zest of 1 Lemon
50g Cold Butter
BLONDIE
135g Brown Butter
335g Light Brown Sugar
Zest of 3 Lemons
3 Eggs
¾ tsp Vanilla
270g Plain Flour
½ tsp Salt

There are so much leftovers in terms of lemon curd, meringue plus crumbs… do you think it works baking a second blondie and freeze it right after baking (certainly in a cooled state 😅)… Thanks for a short answer

Thank you for this recipe guys. I especially bought a 10 x 10 square loose bottom tin to make Danes raspberry and white chocolate blondies which were AAMMAAZZIIINNGG!!! In this video the recipe calls for an 8 x 8 square loose bottom tin and would like to ask if going forward all of your blondie recipes could be for the larger 10 x 10 tin. Please Please Please 🙏🏻 ❤

Store the leftover pie crumbs in the fridge or at room temperature? Also, I was wondering if you could tell me why use all butter for plain crumbs and mixture of veg oil for BD version…? There must be a good reason❣️
Room temperature! The veg oil makes them slightly crunchy, rather than shortbread like x

This is the next dessert I'm cooking! One of the people I make desserts for doesn't like sweet lemon things (that's his only weakness). Can I substitute for strawberry curd, and maybe some freeze dried strawberry pieces to keep it zesty?

Another great recipe guys love all the videos! Quick question, I've tried this one today and my Blondies sunk quite a bit in the middle while cooling, how can I avoid this? I baked for about 35 mins in total hoping that the centre would be cooked through, anything else I can try?
It could be that you’re over whipping once the eggs are in. Also always remember to preheat your oven x

Why does this recipe differ so much from your other blondie recipe? 20% more sugar, 20% less butter, 1/3 more egg, 50% less chocolate, 20% more flour.
Too much sugar!
more sugar to balance the tangy lemon?
I think the lemon curd replaces some of the butter and the other things added in like meringue and pie crumb replace some of the chocolate
