Encourage Proper Lip, Cheek, and Tongue Positioning with ARK's Lip Bloks™

Use ARK's Lip Bloks™ with straws to discourage individuals from biting the straw and/or thrusting the tongue. By promoting tongue retraction, Lip Bloks™ thereby assist in correcting tongue position. They can also be helpful with tensing for controlled lip and tongue movement. Try varying the liquid consistencies to supplement your other intervention strategies for increasing sensory awareness, symmetry, coordination, graded control for liquids, jaw stability, and lip, tongue, and cheek function.
