I love how for both Ansara and LaMarche the voice becomes more and more electrically augmented and emotionally distant as the suit becomes more important to their survival. It's such a subtle, critical element to getting the character right.

He's been throughout almost the entire Batman DCAU series, and shows of the tragedy of the character while still enlisting the passion in his character for saving his wife. 2) Maurice LaMarche definitely gets the number 2 spot for me with how well he captures Freeze's calculated coldness of a man. HM) John DiMaggio fits Mr. Zero (I believe the Silver Age name for Freeze) within the Brave and the Bold Series, which I really appreciate the cheesiness of the character he brings. He's a talented voice actors but their are better voices fitting for Freeze in general. HM) Clancy Brown has the same problem with John, while being an amazing voice actor, his portrayal of the character only fits within the series they're in, specifically The Batman animated series. He just gives of this evil chill of a sinister man with no care but for himself. HM) Arnold Schwarzenegger did pretty well as the character but I think he would've been better in a better movie. I do like how cheesy the character is within the movie, and I do give props for his sympathetic portrayal for Freeze, even if it comes of a bit cliche.
I liked Maurice LaMarche in the Arkham series, but Michael Ansara was legendary, so perfect to voice Mr. Freeze. RIP to the man who brought one of my favorite villains to life during my childhood.
Maurice LaMarche is really the best. His line in Arkham Origins "Damn you Batman for forcing my hand!" Always gave me serious chills (pun not intended)
If Schwarzenegger was given a serious script and a solid director to work with he would’ve made an excellent Mr Freeze, when he wasn’t throwing puns or jokes around his delivery was quite solid. Not to mention lines like “I’m afraid my condition has left me cold to your pleas of mercy” are pretty badass.
5:20 the unknown Voice Actor is Paul Eiding. He's best known for his role as Col Roy Campbell in the Metal Gear Solid series and his work in Ben 10. His voice is very distinct.
Michael Ansara hands down. Even though he shows little emotion, the delivery with each line is awesome and you know exactly what he feels Maurice Lamarche is good, too. But Ansara IS Freeze
The artistry of Ansara is that despite him speaking in predominantly an entirely monotone way, you can feel the extreme agony behind the words in a way actual vocal emotion wouldn't have even conveyed.

Michael Ansara without a doubt. His voice naturally has the effect others needed software to create. His delivery was very believing of someone who was emotionless and dead on the inside.
The parlay between Freeze and Batman when Kevin says "this is NOT a negotiation" still gives me chills. They built up the freeze fight the whole game, and almost made it seem like Freeze was going to be your friend the whole time and when we finally got a Freeze boss battle it made me really giddy.
There's something so haunting about Michael Ansara's voice. It's probably the warbling they gave his dialogue, but it sounds so much older than it actually is. Like he's communicating from years beforehand. Like he's talking to us beyond the grave...

Mr. Freeze is my favorite Batman villain of all time🥶! If Tim Burton stayed on the Batman project, then I think Patrick Stewart would’ve played the character.
George Sanders in one of the best versions of Mr Freeze next to Michael Ansara. I love Sanders Mr Freeze a villain who fought Batman and was punched into chemicals that made him only service in subzero temperature now is out for revenge better then the other freezes on the show and I can see what dini took from this verison for btas
I`ve been thinking. What if Giancarlo Esposito voiced Freeze? I mean, the guy has voiced a lot of these calm, stoic villains, who barely show any signs of emotion. So, what if he voiced a villain that has, literally, " a heart of ice",? He doesn`t have to play him in live action ( and even if he did, what`s the problem with makeup to make his skin look blue/white), but I think he would do a great job as Freeze. Probably make him sound menacing and detached, with or without the tragic elements of his character. Idk, this is just an idea of mine.
The DC villain I'd like to see done next is Felix Faust. I know Peter Cullen and Robert Englund have both voiced him in the past, Cullen being the first person to do so, but I don't know if there have been others.
Michael Ansara. Period. His best performances were in Batman & Mr. Freeze: Sub-Zero (the one that introduced me to him) and "Meltdown" of Batman Beyond. Maurice LaMarche is the only one I consider a true worthy heir to Mr. Ansara's legacy.

23. David Burrows

25. Arnold Schwarzenegger
Clancy Brown makes a good job voicing Mr. Freeze.
Michael Ansara is golden.
Maurice LaMarche and Oded Fehr are surprisingly fantastic. Fehr could play Victor in live-action!
I think Michael Ansara is my favourite Voice of Mr. freeze he had a deep and strong voice and pretty tough voice
For the character in my opinion
🤓😀
Maurice LaMarche is my best voice actor for Mr. Freeze.
Maurice Lamarche is Mr Freeze!!!
Holy Shit! Mr. Krabs did his voice in The Batman? Awesome.
Patrick Stewart should play Mr Freeze next
Nice work. Which one next?
Mr. Freeze is my favorite Batman villain of all time🥶! If Tim Burton stayed on the Batman project, then I think Patrick Stewart would’ve played the character.
Missed one that i know of that is Batman Vengeance game please make a updated vid with it or a vid with mr.freeze batman vengeance only
3:10 Micahel Asnara (rip)
4:44 Arnold Schwarzenegger
5:58 Clancy Brown
6:33 John Dimaggio
12:11 Nathan Darrow
And
Alfred Molina(Harley Quinn)
The late Michael Ansara was and forever the best. With Maurice LaMarche a close second
The reason the voices pre the animated series are different is because the Nora story was created in Batman The Animated Series
Michael ansara is my favorite
RIP Michael Ansara.Best Mr.Freeze voice.Even Maurice does it good in arkham games!I always hear Michael's voice when I read a comic.
Crazy that Tuco from the Good , the Bad & The Ugly played Mr. Freeze.
He doesn`t have to play him in live action ( and even if he did, what`s the problem with makeup to make his skin look blue/white),
but I think he would do a great job as Freeze. Probably make him sound menacing and detached, with or without the tragic elements of his character.
Idk, this is just an idea of mine.
There is something beautiful in Oded Fehr's way of reading the lines...
Michael Ansara and Maurice LaMarche, easy
Also Arnold Schwarzenegger just for the laughs
I like Jim’s voice for the Doctor as well tbh
The DC villain I'd like to see done next is Felix Faust. I know Peter Cullen and Robert Englund have both voiced him in the past, Cullen being the first person to do so, but I don't know if there have been others.
It’s too bad Michael Ansara passed away. He was the perfect voice for Mr. Freeze.
Do updated killer croc voices
Ansara introduced the famous monotone but Maurice LaMarche perfected it. No doubt he is the best
How does Arnold Schwarzenegger turn from a man hunting robot to a. Cold hearted man who likes to say very bad puns?
Now I can hear The Brain in Mister Freeze's death
Next, can you voices of Captain Cold?
Mr freeze is so sad in Batman arkham knight that side story always bums me out :(
I love how he arkham games treated Mr freeze he is more of a friend to Batman rather than an enemy
