Yay she says with all the enthusiasm she can muster lol. Made me laugh. I hesitate to imagine what kind of scenes she has to photograph. Awesome Vlog!

These folks are unbelievably cool, she especially seems like a really good person. It almost makes me sad that I can't relate, lol. This whole vlog edit was really well done too, like I'm amazing at the quality & insight their production shows us without being too intrusive, vague or dramatized.

Yet another wonderful video from Auckland Police TV. Not suggesting for a moment it's a cushy job, but if I were still policing (I'd be up to about 32 years now), I'd love to do this until mandatory retirement at 60.
Is being a police photographer part of SOCO or a separate branch?
Best wishes from Brisbane, and take care out there.

I think Australia has gotten rid of dedicated photographers.
Forensics just do the photos now.
Some police just use their mobile phones.

Jess Ess In QPS scenes of crimes officers do photography for most jobs. Photography section specialise in more drones, fix photographs if they’re underexposed, 3D for homicide jobs etc. They are more specialised and not like the role they play in NZ police.

Wow, photography and police work. Could there be a better job. I was at a local crime scene taking photos from outside the cordon for a photography project and saw a police photographer there. Good to see the how things work behind the scenes and I am definitely going to show this video to my photography classes.
Be great to have one of the photographers come along and do a talk at my photography club some time but they must be pretty busy by the sound of things.
