For those wanting an easy way tio guarantee an even split... if you apply a gamblers crimp to any card, it can easily be broken at that exact card... you pre load the deck with the gamblers crimp located at the 26th card... that opens up a BUNCH of other simple card tricks because everytime you break, you can break to a specific card...
Thank you for the bonus info. I have been interested in magic for most of my 70 yrs. but valuable tips, like the gambler's crimp, go unmentioned or assumed to be common knowledge by some.
Unless you’re professional magician, you don’t know what a gambler’s crimp is. And if you are a professional magician, you can do that trick in much cleaner easier manner.
I do an older variation. Your card gets picked by my random reversed card. Same principle. Less moves. Takes about 15 seconds from 'pick a card any card.'
As others have said, you can gimmick a card and put it in the 26th position (a crimp, short card, etc). Perfect cutting is a good skill to have if you're interested in being able to do a perfect faro though. Instead of having to count to make sure you're cutting in the middle, while practicing you can separate the reds and blacks. If you cut dead center, the card above the cut would have a different color to the card below. You can then periodically shuffle the halves so that you're sure you're not just cutting at an accidental crimp. If you want to perform this trick but are unsure of your perfect cutting ability, you could pencil mark the 26th card so that you immediately see whether you hit it or not. If not, then just complete the cut and pivot to a different trick.
I like to do this exact trick, but after counting to the card, i recount them thus getting it to the bottom of the new pile. I then get them to make a first place them in between the pointer and middle finger. Tells the spectator to hold it tight but not too tight.(Thats the risky part cuz it can fail.) Show them the original pile doesnt have their card, then say so its in your hand but its not theese, then slap directly down, then due to friction there will only be one card in their hand and you now look like a Marvelous mighty god of unforeseen awesomeness... Good luck finding a follow up, i havent so i use it as an end game 😆
Explanation: Let x be the number of removed cards. Before the Klondike shuffle, the number of cards below yours is 26-x, so after the Klondike shuffle this becomes 2(26-x). Therefore, the number of cards *not* below yours is the total remaining cards less this amount, or (52-x)-2(26-x)=52-x-52+2x=x, so the xth card is your card.
That was anything but simple. I’m going to try it and if it works specially because of the fact of one part of that the spectator just pulls off a random amount of cards there’s no way that card should just reappear after a certain amount of cards if it does, that’s gonna freak me out. lol
Klondike shuffle? You're saying Solitaire has its own shuffle? I mean to be fair it'd mix them pretty damn good in a solved state, considering you just stack the Ace-King stack on top of each other so it does make sense :')
Instructions unclear - I did this at live show, i pulled up 9 of spade, while the audience picked K of heart😑. Now the show manager is searching for me.
It works if you split the deck exactly in half but thats impossible to do that in front of viewer unless you prepared by splitting before performing your trick
Btw guys yall don't need to be an expert and cut the deck perfectly in half, you can use an even amount of cards and the same amount in each pile.I usually do 20 cards in each pile. You can also do any shuffle as long as the bottom card is maintained
Right when he said to split the deck evenly i knew it was gonna be a math trick
All cars tricks are math tricks
@@jayjaharias6127um no??
@@jayjaharias6127nah bro and its not (cars) its cards
@@jayjaharias6127Not all, some of them are straight up fooling or cheating on your opponent

Bro you’ve lost me already. 😂
Hahaha
I know how to do that because of the faro shuffle
Not me having to put the vid in 0.5 speed 😅
That's bcoz of muscle memory
@@CardMechanicas if people are going to split the deck in half perfectly each time. 🙄
My method is similar but different: I have a variation where I don’t do the trick right and never find the card.
You stole that one from me

Thank you, just blew my mind

Maybe reduce the number of cards in the deck so the trick won't take so long. Like Take a half the deck or something. Might make the trick smoother.
Omg, i tried it and it worked perfectly everytime😃🤩

Thanks for reminding me this trick Vinnie.
This is sick trick but could you show us that presentation at the end where you flick the card around a lot?
the hand movements at the end 🎉😂❤
I’ve went from no tricks to known 3 tricks from your videos thank you
Damn u got that philtre deck from PH! Thanks for the magic trick keep up the good work :)
Love it when you mix math and card tricks
Your cards look incredibly slick! What are they?
It is piltre made by Ph
Dude it worked. 1st time how in the world!!!!! That is insane!!!
good for you
Hey what deck is this? I love that color scheme
Philtre by PH. It's probably a limited edition tho.

@@jackkanoff6265 That’s so profoundly correct.
Great tutorial man oh & if anyone is curious you must have 52 cards or it wont work throws the math off I think
No I have 62 it works finw
thatś very easy but Thanks buddy🙏
❤
Nice one! Should have them count off with you at the end. :)
Yes 100%
Simple… brother….
Simple: easily understood or done; presenting no difficulty.
It is simple though. Absurdly so, even. Failure to follow this would mean you are even less than simple.
Can't you do it with a farro shuffle instead.. Ive seen this kind of principle somewhere..
The klondike shuffle looks too mathy..
Awesome video man 😎
What does "shuffle it up" mean? Is "shuffle it down" its antonym?
I can’t split the deck even. WTF? 😂
Instructions unclear: Everything
Yeah, forgot the "IQ greater than 60" requirement
Perfect! I’ll try this like NEVER😂
bro good magic🎉🎉🎉
Works nicely!
Incredible 💫
his hand movements at the end where he shows the card are cool!
GORGEOUS BUDDY 😅😂😮
Will it still work if the number is different?
U dumb?
Try it your self it could be any number its basic math
Are you taking a certain amount out when you split the deck... iv tried this 8 times and i still can't get it right hahaha

1: TADA, is this your card?
2: oh, you watch cardmechanic too?

Simple....I cant even shuffle like that 😂
I was trying this out and I actually got the Jack of spades 😂
The odds of that are 1/3
I missed the part where you teached it ?
Exactly in half... Easy...
Split the deck evenly. Where is the delete video button?
I may actually be able to learn this. I think I'm seeing that the original cutting has to be half exactly to make it work
The card needs to be in the top?
What kind of card is this ?
I can't shuffle cards - am I the only one ? 😊

Dude am I supposed to get the jack of spades or the card I picked. I've done it a few times and I've got the Jack of spades
Split the deck exactly,, hmmmm,,, how do you do that??
Yeahh… maybe that needs a tutorial or just practice
He didn't teach me anything, he showed me but didn't teach me. I still don't know how it was done.
Self working.
The only shuffle I know how to do is the Cupid Shuffle

Any easier or understandable way you can explain? I’m not clever enough to get that

what do you call this trick

How do you know they will select 11 cards at the end exactly
I would lose the audiences attention in 2 seconds because my ass would be counting the cards to make sure the deck is actually split in two evenly😂
It works if you split the deck exactly in half but thats impossible to do that in front of viewer unless you prepared by splitting before performing your trick
I also had 11 cards and jack of spades lol
