A pretty simple game but had more versatility than I anticipated. I like how your trousers tint to purple to indicate low health, as the stats info is all the way up there, and the player has got barely any time to look away from the action.
I played this game a lot in the arcade back in the mid 80's. I still love the graphic style and the simple fast gameplay. And the music... oh, the music... Brings back so many fond memories.
You thought Jackie Chan had moves? You thought RoboCop had gratuitous gun violence? You thought Chuck Norris was a one-man army? You thought Arnold was the Last Action Hero? All chumps compared to the high-speed hurricane of martial arts destruction that is Knuckle Joe. I can't even read Batman comics anymore because of this video, they're so boring in comparison.

I played this as well, but it was called "Bone Breaker" in the US. Probably via a license from Taito.
This feels like Konami's Kicker but has a lot more to it and is more refined. Looks really cool.
