It is so hard to maintain 1st place, especially if the pace to start off is slow and you're forced to make everyone move...SO hard. Mad props to the Canadian for putting up a hell of a fight. Arop was the gatekeeper, and in the end, 1st and 2nd place were not given, Arop made sure they were earned. Fantastic race! Fantastic recap!
Hey Nick, love all the content and this video as usual, do you reckon you will have a look at or comment on the fasle starts in the mens 110m hurdles, there was a very good letsrun article on the huge number of false starts during the WCs, and the statistical improbability of it.
I know I am not him but I think your 800m is actually very good the mile is a bit worse I am 11 and my best 800 is 2:39 but my mile is 5:38 but still very good times
hey nick i got a question, at the end of the video you showed the mens 1500 clip, how is it fair that someone all the way at the end of the starting line has to run the extra distance to go against the rim?
It's 2 laps but it's not 2 laps fast..... 800m is actually becoming one of the most lame events because they jog so slow for like 600m then sprint at the end....... It's boring to actually watch, just catch the highlights of the last 20 seconds if you want any excitement.

Arop has potential in the future
Love the recaps. Can't wait for the 1500. I was cheering so hard for that upset.
Ye I also can’t wait to c the womens 1500 with Laura muir
I think the slow pace favoured Korir. He has 44-low 400m speed.
Given that his PR is 1:42.05, he probably would have done well in a fast race as well. Great athlete all around
Nick would kill since 2017, just born a bit too early 😂
Love these analyses you do Bison, absolutely superb
i already know this is going to be a great vid. 800m is the best race in track and field
Nope
If Arop committed more that first lap, he would’ve won IMO
Arop did well by setting the pace
Im ready to see ur recap of the womens 400h.
would love to see some reactions to the women's races as well!
They were insane, would love to see nick review them
Great analysis
Great race my favorite events were the women's 4x1 and women's 4x4 finals. Hopefully, I get to see your reviews on that
On vacation??? @Worlds 800 final in Eugene ???? Wow !!! That’s a surprise, hope you had a great time
amazing insight from an Olympian
Nick Symmonds wins that Easy while flexing his biceps, he sure aint scared of that performance by the medalists....
Great job on this one, Nick.
“…RUDISHA could try to go 22:5….” That was crazy😩😩😂😂😂😂
Nice commentary Nick 👍
24.95 isn't slow!
It is
love the vid!
This race is called who wants it the most finish
Hi l am from Australia and l know Bol didn’t win but that’s ok and love your videos nick keep it
Could you recap the women's 800 from the world championship??
So on the first lap it’s a slow sprint and the second lap is all out sprinting
Good stuff....you'd be a great coach
Pls make a video on 1500m final
strange time to go on vacation
Maybe you should react to swimming events. I think you would really enjoy the 800m freestyle. Sit and kick baby
Do a 100m final next year for the 2023 World Championships
U should see the womens 800 god that finish was insane
Seriously USA 800m runners could still get beat by nick symmonds today they win and loose inconsistently nick never lost on US soil...

He did already !
Nick what were your times in middl school for the 800 and 1600? Just wondering bc I’m at 5:58 mile and 2:31 800 in 7th grade. Is that good?
I know I am not him but I think your 800m is actually very good the mile is a bit worse I am 11 and my best 800 is 2:39 but my mile is 5:38
but still very good times
in 6th grade i ran a 2:41 idk abt mile i havent done that but id say your mile is decent
thats pretty good! i dont see too too many people have that fast of an 800 at that age so props! hope you crush it in 8th grade
good. The mile is pretty good, could be better. The 800 is great though.
nick how to become a certified track and field coach
Yessss
Need this for the womens 4x100
hey nick i got a question, at the end of the video you showed the mens 1500 clip, how is it fair that someone all the way at the end of the starting line has to run the extra distance to go against the rim?
starting on the outside imo is better than starting at the inside.
@@bangtanangel7840 how
@@pizzapirate631 because you can position yourself way easier.
24 sec 200 meters is pedestrian
The Fact that Nick has actually ran a faster 800m then all of them shows how great he actually was and is!
He hasn’t. Emmanuel Korir has ran 1:42.05 and is the 6th fastest all time
I like how he was saying those times were slow but matched his PR in his prime lol
his pr was a high 1.42 so yes they were slow.
letsgooo
Why aren’t you watching the Commonwealth Games
If nick was in this final he would have won
No mention how the USA was not in this race. Not our year.
😍
Womans 800m and 400mh
pls do a 1500 and 5K recap for the Norwegian guy
Gutting burgin wasn’t racing. Think he would’ve won
🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿
First
im sure you would have won haha
The 800 is slow, you would’ve been world champion with this competition.
Hi nick I think you remember me
Can I get a pair of shoes
I'm from india
I watch your every single video
And I'm a huge fan of you nick

You don't you actually come up with your own content, rather than stealing someone else's and rebranding it as a "reaction video" 🥱😆
