Doctor my flute tends to shift while playing and my tone becomes airy ,can you kindly suggest what i should be doing to prevent this from happening
Hi Mula raikar, It sounds to me that your hand positions are causing this problem. I have some videos on hand right hand and left hand positions. Take a look at those and see if perhaps you are holding wrong. When held properly against your lip you can hold the flute with only 2 fingers and the side of the left hand first finger only and it doesn't shift. Check to see if you hands are causing a balance problem. Let me know how you are doing.
