I have walked and cycled that route many times in the Past, but now struggle to walk to the supermarket but I know if I started to walk it again I would never complete it. Thank You for uploading it as it brings back many Happy Memories for me of my Younger Days

@@thesaraissimochronicles1656 I started hiking in 1967 at the age of 10 with an Uncle round and through Sherwood forrest, then took a break until 1977 when I hiked the Pennine Way from the South to the North, then spent 3 Yrs In the Military and again return to the Pennine Way for a North to South journey, followed by a West to East Coast to Coast, I was back again after two years for an East to West Coast to Coast. I then took a 2 yr break before retuning for a John OGroats to Lands End Hike, another short 1 yr break before going back to Lands End to do a South to North, Lands End to John OGroats hike followed after a 5 yr break before walking all the way round Scotland, the East and South Coat of England and the coast of Wales and the rest of the North West Coast of England. That last Coastal walk round Scotland, England and Wales took me 5 years. After a few years to let my body repair itself I return for my First Love the West to East Coast Coast to Coast followed 2 yrs later with and East to West Coast to Coast. Now I am retired and have all the time in the world BUT the Doctors has warned me NOT TO GO HIKING again as my knees joints would not take the strain. So I spend most of my days in retirement watching TH-cam, mainly UK hiking, Boating (Norfolk Broads) and recently started watching Canal Boats in the UK. Sometime I even forget to eat more than once a day, but hey its not as though I need that much food just sitting at the Computer watching videos. I would think I have hiked close to 8 000 to 10,000 miles in my lifetime and really miss the excitement of a new route to hike. @@user-TonyUK You certainly made the most of your hiking boots! I bet you had many pairs of them too?! At least you made the most of visiting places on foot, not many people could say they have done that in their lifetime? You still have your memories and of course TH-cam videos for you to reminisce? Thankyou again for watching, and for your comments 👍

@@thesaraissimochronicles1656 I had to replace the boots for each of the Hikes I did on the advice of someone I walked with the first time I did the Pennine Way and when I joined the Army in 1976 after completing my First Pennine Way a week before, I was approx 8 yrs older than the rest of the Recruits and earned the nickname Granddad, even the Trainings staff doubted I would be able to complete the Strenious 18 week course due to my age. I surprised them all at the end of the 18 week Training Course, when I admitting I had done "some training Hikes prior to joining". Later I told the Training STAFF, all about how I trained by hiking the Pennine Way they asked how far is that, my reply was "Look it up as you would not believe the milage if I told you", and the Training Staff where amaze at the mileage it was and I told them about hiking for nearly three week from Edale to KirkYetholme and they showed me a lot more respect than I expected. Even the other recruits did not believe the Training Staff at the end of the 18 week Training Period when they explained how I trained myself by Hiking close to 300 mile in three weeks BEFORE even Joining the 18 week Training Course. I can still see the look of amazement on some of the other Recruits faces nearly 40 years. Happy Memories like that keep making me think Have I got one more hike in me? If I do another Hike could my body cope with the possible pain in a few years time. So no I never hiked again but still have all my memories to look back on. Tony in Essex, A Retired Hiker

Total set of Boots for all the walks was 5 in the end, I know that because I just counted the Laces which I kept as a keepsake.
