Shadows of cheating: John Masters' Journey to Redemption" follows John's harrowing ordeal of false accusations and parental kidnapping. His ex-wife Adelia's cheating plunges him into a nightmare of rumors and isolation. With unyielding support from his assistant Helen, John seeks justice. When the FBI locates Adelia and her new husband, John's hope is reignited. Safe, but scarred, his daughters are found. As truth unfolds and charges are filed, John's quest for redemption begins. Taken as a motif and based on: He's Nothing but A Man
I actually lived through something similar. But no FBI and no disappearance. Just all the lurid and false accusations. I was accused of everything and more in this story. The ONLY reason that they didn’t get away with it, was because Missouri made it illegal to file these charges AFTER I’d filed for custody.
What a story. It takes a lot of fortitude to go through what our hero goes through. Like the song says "If you're goin' through hell keep on going Don't slow down if you're scared don't show it You might get out before the devil even knows you're there"
Justice finally served! Seeing Adelia's shocked face on that monitor must've been priceless. Can't mess with the law and expect to get away with it, especially when there's forgery involved.
When I listen to these stories I generally start a trip down memory lane of my 66 years. This time I began to remember many conversations I have had with people about listening to both sides before passing judgment. Back in the middle 1990s I was in our Atlanta corporate HQ with my boss then a VP. Both he and his wife were spreading things about another family. I carefully cautioned him about the libel/slander laws in Georgia. Don't worry Mike it is not slander if it is true. Well, it turns out it was not true and the later settlement came to around $100,000 plus Attorney fees. Thankfully for him, he had insurance. The next time he was in my location doing an inspection he told me Mike I sure wished I had listened to you. My father taught me that if I have a problem with Tom don't tell Harry, go talk to Tom. To this day I am still surprised at how eager people are to spread unsubstantiated rumors.
Best story ever! So well written. Loved how all the legal matters dragged past the ending and how the new family grew and how reconciliation had begun with the grandmother.
It's crazy how everything unraveled for the cheating wife once the truth came out about the forged signatures and kidnapping charges. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving person.
The kids in there late teens with cellphones and laptops never googled there father not even getting angry thinking his was not the father and just left peacefully that seems like two of the most rational teenagers or just didn't care enough to begin with.
@@randolphj.blaggard7088 While never just left my parents divorced when i was young 3 to 5 i don't remember but i only saw my mom about once a month not because of custody but life both worked full time and later she had drug problems(which means i saw her even less during those times.) I never broke contact with her always saw her when she wanted, never did she stop being my mom but maybe that's because they never bad mouthed each other and my pops was a cop and never shied away from serious topics so i new what drugs can do to someone and was a d.a.r.e kid lol
My ex ran off with my kid and she still has not contacted me and she is 20 now. The explanation is that the child be leives the lies that the mother fed them and possibly even started to hate the father. The thing in this story that is difficult to beleive is that the kids so easily changed the beleif and came back to the father.
LOL.. Exactly, I was thinking if anyone asked me my reply would be, "Why the F would I know?" plus I thought it strange that the banker new husband decided to divorce the cheating wife when they were never legally married.
23:50 Kid napping, Contempt, Fraud, Perjury, Big amy... and that is off the top of my head. Crossing state lines makes it much worse. The premeditated conspiracy is just icing on the cake.
This was a most excellent, heartwarming story with some sweet justice served and a Hallmark, they lived happily ever after ending. Nicely done LLC! More like this one please...oh, and this one definitely gets 👍🏻👍🏻AND ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great story and outcome! Have to wonder if the courts were required to assign primary custodial rights to the spouse being sued for divorce if that would result in better outcomes for the children. Speaking from personal experience. That would obviously be mitigated by extenuating, by documented circumstances.
Actually this story is epic and realistic. There have been cases where a spouse disappears with children after making slanderous comments. This would lead to federal crimes: kidnapping, slander and forgery.
Well done got tears in my eyes and smile also in the end but that own parents disowned you forgiveness it's almost impossible and wife i just hope he got out when she became very old......
This is what I mean when I say women attack men in a different way. By manipulating the law. See how the false accusations were immediately believed and dude almost lost his life? The stigma would stick forever even with no evidence to prove these heinous things
What an incredible story. Like most of those stories, I wouldn't be suprised to know that it has some real facts behind. How far scumbag can you be to get your means? This story gives us a slight light on. The only thing I can give is a big Bravo & a repeat applauses round to the new wife to stick to OP, She's a true beleiver
No word on the criminal charges for the ex wife/mother and her accomplice? What about the ex’s “extended family” who spread lies for YEARS? How many years were they hit with? What about their reputation in NY? Did the OP finally get the weight back? Great story, but needs more details in the epilogue.
It's amazing that even after it's been proven that he was innocent of the lies that had been spread about him, his evil father still wont speak to him. Parents usually stick by their children's side and support them until proven beyond a shadow of doubt that they are guilty. And then they don't stop speaking to them. However, he doesn't need his biological father, who just provided the sperm that caused his birth. It seems that he was only a father during good times, but not when hard times rear it's ugly head. He is the one missing out....on the love of his grandchildren, his wonderful daughter-in-law, and his son.
It is a sad fact that a woman can lie and a man will suffer because of her accusation. Divorce is biased in favor of a woman and the man is forced to pay and pay dearly. This story shows that truth where the man nearly dies due to the salacious lies told by the wife. The sentence of the wife is not excessive relating to the five years of torment her husband had to endure. Great story, thanks for sharing.
First, just to get it out of the way, F' John's jerk-ass father. What kind of stubborn morals- free idiot father continues to punish his son for something he now knows for sure his son didn't do?! Pure trash. Now, for the main point: This was one of the best, most gripping, heartbreaking and satisfying stories from your channel. It's an indisputable masterpiece! Well done, indeed!!
It is a fun story but I am getting tired of all the guys in these stories being some kind of high powered business executive that has a massive amount of resources behind them. When my ex dumped me, I was left with nothing but my car and the things I could carry in it. I would have been homeless if I had not been able to go back to my one living parent.
The 💯 karma was sweet, the best person ended on top and a loving parent in the insanity keeping his undying love is just amazing 👏 LLC thx for once again sweet escape on a Sunday night 😊
Hold up, why is this story making the rounds by different channels???? Could you all be one and the same sa some times you make mistakes and spanish words pop out the a.i's robotic mouth?

Everyone of these lying women needs to get a minimum ten years prison sentence.
Is it bad, I would watch this as a drama?

Happens all the time. I’m from Missouri as well.

At 36:20, it says they didn't have their phones nor laptops when they left.
if you went through something similar to this irl, you would know this is a far more common reaction from children than you would think
@@drl5002 yeah i know but it's been five years i was talking in total length of time.

How do you even manage to forge someone's signature to adopt their kids? That's some next-level deception.
Forging a signature is not that hard... if you know how the one you want to forge looks like.. But it takes time alot of time to do it perfect.
She only gets 5 years... If it was a man doing that it would've been 12 years.
I think you misunderstood. The judge gave those 5 years on top of whatever the federal cases would result in.
hardest to believe part of this story is that op got her ring size from her brother.
LOL.. Exactly, I was thinking if anyone asked me my reply would be, "Why the F would I know?" plus I thought it strange that the banker new husband decided to divorce the cheating wife when they were never legally married.
What a horrible woman to put a man through that lesser man would have just give up love this story made the old eyes water 👍👍

I’m not sure if it’s funny or tragic but Bank of America also ruined my marriage. She also cheated with a married couple.
Really enjoying how this story is one of a kind about 1/3 through can’t wait to see how it unfolds

Btw very clever and imaginative name for the judge. lol must have taken awhile to come up with that one

Huddle House? Damn bruh, I wasn’t expecting to hear that restaurants name. Their Free Waffle Wednesdays are Goated AF.
Man i miss my Ruby Tuesday up here in the StL area. This is the second story ive heard from this site mentioning South East Missouri State

Big thumbs up for the channel...

Great story
Nice story.
56:20 thats the unspoken rule, I think. Stand at the edge and dont stand between the aisle.
Weakling for a husband.
How so?
His suicidal attempt was due to the accusation of society and attempted murder on himself.
7:02 he should just file for abandonement.
