      I've seen women act like that so much. They often don't know shit about fighting and always seem to have a hard time believing that the smaller guy could most definitely beat the bigger man's ass, and they don't seem to understand that muscle heads mostly can't fight for shit.

    A relationship can be killed in a moment. Even if she hadn't cheated, she called him a liar because she thought so little of him. She could apologize forever, but the relationship would never be the same.

    There is physical strength and mental strength. Training in any fighting category unites these 2 forces. I was a judo practitioner and my master taught me how to control these 2 forces. There's a phrase he always highlighted, “use your opponent's mental and physical imbalance to your advantage”. I found an opponent 3 times bigger than me physically and used his own body and strength against him. This doesn't happen overnight. You have to have a lot of training. Being big and strong helps, but without discipline, self-control and training it is useless. Very good and well written story. Thanks post. Thanks.

    The ending was stupid. The wife gain a new job through the ex, gotten a large law suit benefit of the ex husband, and so on. The only thing she lost was her marriage. The ex husband made everything so very easy for her life to continue on for the better after she did what she done to him...

    • @rs1023
      @rs1023 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Not really. The ex-husband was a good man. I also disagree about her not losing anything either. She lost the love of a truly good man and the respect of her children and others who now knew who and what she really was.

    • @blacksunday4231
      @blacksunday4231 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Having superior technique and conditioning certainly helps too. Having that dog in you alone can also win fights. I knew a chunky/stocky Laotian dude, probably 5'2, built like a bowling ball and was very athletic for his size, and had no training in any fighting discipline, won a bunch of fights against dudes who were over 6 feet. Which was mostly from his aggression and fearless nature. It also helped that he was deceptively strong too. It sounds crazy saying it without seeing it for yourself 😂

      @@blacksunday4231Yup, it is easy to believe what you're saying about the Laos bloke. Just take a look at Muay Tai fighters from Thailand, them blokes are slim and smaller in stature but can take a hit without much flinching and can pack a solid punch and round house. And outside of a ring are very aggressive in a street brawl.

    I know these are just stories. But seeing where a man does not destroy his partner's world is frustrating. The day I see via GPS my wife is NOT in Memphis but at Andrew's home, I send her one single message and then stop all communication. " I know where you are and what you are doing, we are DONE". Many years ago I watched a man using his key to his wife's car tape such a message to her steering wheel while parked at a local hotel. She tried for two weeks to contact him. After almost a year of no communication, she got a message to him that she would not fight a divorce. The house was hers before they got married. He was so sick of her that he just left! My GF handled his side of the case and told me later she attempted to get him to not sign and go away with her on a long vacation. She said he just looked at her and asked where do I sign. Sometimes a man when he gets enough he is finished and it is best to leave him alone!

    I did martial arts all the way through high school. The understanding is that you get way more beat up in the dojo than ever in real life. Half of it is learning how to take a punch

      This is true. I used to box, and the worst beatings I ever took were in sparring, especially in Mexican boxing gyms. if you want hard sparring, go to those gyms lol, the pace alone is super intense. It's definitely one of the main reasons how I've developed my conditioning and second wind.

    Fighting is all about mechanics- where you strike, how you focus your power, how joints can move and not move, how to tear joints, tendons and ligaments with minimal energy, how to use momentum and energy. Size is only an advantage against a less skilled or similarly or modestly more skilled opponent. More skill plus the willingness to use those skills ruthlessly is decisive.
