Thanks for making this review very useful and saves a lot of time going to the dealership. I am going with the EX-L mainly because of my children and their electronics.
Thanks for the thorough explanation. We are currently shopping Sport models, so I appreciate seeing all the differences without having to visit the dealer. Everyone is different, I know. We are in the minority I suspect, liking the beautiful simplicity of older cars. Don't personally care for, or desire, the added features of higher end models ... especially computer complexity. Also like cloth seats, which is why were test driving the Sport model ... its a personal preference even though cloth seats are a rarity these days regardless of car brands. 🙂
What's your opinion on the difference in "ride" between the Sport and EX-L? I know the 20 inch 50 profile tires are not as comfortable, but how different is it on the Pilot?
The bigger then tire the more smoother the ride will be no matter what. I have to say that because it makes a world of difference. Might not look as good but for sure more comfortable. You should go try it.
Thanks for the review, my lease is over so I am looking for newer models coming out of 2021 pilot black edition, thank you for good comparison. Btw what are the black shirt and jeans you are wearing?
I just bought the ex-l and like the features that it has. Due to the current market issues I got a very good deal on it basically costs what the sport does.
Appreciate the thorough reviews because I wasnt sure id ExL was best for our family but after this review: yes it is worth the $6k upgrade, i wish the tow package was standard though
I think you described the EX-L but priced the Touring trim? The EX-L is only $43,500 plus destination and handling. It’s the Touring that costs $47,500.
we have a 2025 exl. good vehicle, hate the auto stop. also honda, toyota, make your damn seats more comfortable. which means make the bottoms bigger. i have a 07 tahoe which is my beater car. the seats are WAY more comfortable.
I just want the Sport with the 9 inch infotainment system. That 7 inch screen is tiny. I could care less about leather, auto trunk etc. Just that larger screen

Good choice! I would go with that as well.
I want an exl but with the exterior look of the sport without paying for a black edition lol
Haha haha i hear ya!

Glad you enjoyed the video. Glad we can also help anyway possible.
I got the sport and am very happy with it don't need all that stuff and I saved money
Saving money is always good!
It’s subjective. 6k for all that features is worth it for most people.
The EX-L is well worth it.
Yes it is!!
The sport looks better so I got one and I love it
The seat material on the sport is terrible. Very cheap feeling and hard to the touch otherwise a great trim level.
No roof rack though
Great video format
Glad you liked it!
The Sport does have wired Apple/Android, but the EX-L has wireless.
Thanks! Hopefully it will be helpful for others
Small but big mistake. Apple care play is huge for ppl
Thanks this is a deal breaker feature for me

Glad we can be of help. My black shirts are from either Zara, Tilly’s, and I forget the other brand. My jeans are from Calvin Klein

Awesome!!!
What kind of deal were you able to get?
What’s your monthly payment?

Glad we can help honestly. I agree with you on the tow, but dealerships will maximize profits wherever they can, or more manufacturers
Just bought same ex l and I love it
Glad to hear so… enjoy !
Thanks, very good tour. ❤
You’re welcome 😊
Excellent video. Thank you
Glad we can help!! Please share!
Do the passenger seats in the second row have armrest once you remove the middle seat?
No
Is the middle seat removable?
Yes, it is removable.
If your getting it as a family hauler you might as well go with the exl because of the plugs
Yes! I would do so also
Great video. Sport for me
Thanks!!! What did you like about the video so much?
@@VagabondBuilds Hit the high points, and didn’t let it bog down into a 20 minute video.
Awesome thanks! Well noted.
I got my exl for 45k I love this pilot
Awesome! Glad to hear you are happy with your pick.

See msrp stickers in the video. Thank you.
I hate how you get the exl and the back trunk tailgate light doesn't light up because it's only reserve for the touring and elite. That's bs
I hear ya… I think ex and up should have it.

American comfort will always be on top. It’s like driving apartments down the highway haha
Auto stop can be turned off, can't it? Though maybe it should be done every time vehicle starts, didn't check this on my ex-l
Just bought the wifey 2025 Pilot EX-L for 41500 plus taxes and registration.
Solid choice. That would be my pick.
Nice what state do you live in?

WOW! Where did you buy it for that price? I would gladly buy one also. That is a great price. Can you share? Dealership name.
What is the difference between the EX-L and the EX-L+ ? I see this on various dealership websites.
I just want the Sport with the 9 inch infotainment system. That 7 inch screen is tiny. I could care less about leather, auto trunk etc. Just that larger screen
Oh… well, I think the feel with the leather does change the experience of the drive
@VagabondBuilds I don't like the 18s wheel design. That's my problem. For me it's the Sport wheels or the Touring.
Yea, agreed. 👍🏼
Did you get ur name from the bible?
Yes I think its worth it we are buying the sport in december .
Yes my mother did. Interesting question btw. Exciting!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks!
❤
❤️
No apple car play / Android auto in the sport. ? Weak...
I know.
Does this just mean the stereo doesnt have bluetooth connection?
The Sport does have both, but it's not wireless. Also weak.
Thank you it has it just not the sirius xm which is not needed. And you can have wireless for like 50 dollar dongle.
EXL has way better value.
Agreed!
6k for that 😂
Is that cheap or expensive?
@@VagabondBuilds not worth it
Oh okay
Do the passenger seats in the second row have armrest once you remove the middle seat?
No
