The phone is really good. Just ask yourself what do you want / need from a phone. let me tell you a funny story: I own a Find X6 Pro and I am part of a group that pushes the limits of video recording on smartphones....on this group there are find x6 Pro, Find X7 Ultra, Oneplus 12, etc... pretty much all BBK Group phones with this shitty software called ColorOs. and there is a guy with a Nubia just like this one you showing, we all owners of BBK group phones have so many problems I cant even list here ( Mult Noise Reduction Problems, Face detection based exposure Problems, lots of problems with recording frames dropping because of the very agressive thermal control on ColorOS, sensors blocked to work on third party apps, and so on) and the guy with the Nubia has 0 problems. those companies think they know shit about video cameras and "invent" all sort of "features" that ruin every single phone they touch.
I am a photographer with many years of experience. I tested today doing macro and blew up my mind. As a photographer you will know that is 100% manual focus and this phone is the first phone I ever seen that takes stunning macro shots. I don't care about the selfie or wireless. If you are a photographer, it is a must on your collection.

How well does wireless charging work through a case that actually protects the whole phone? A case with a kickstand? Or for those that like to use a pop socket? It's definitely not a deal breaker for everyone
Have had mine for about a week and a half so far. Biggest actual issue for me isn't the phone but trying to get it working with AT&T because of their dumb whitelist. Definitely some oddities throughout that are a bit of a pain point, like with gestures the back is a swipe from the side, but can't change it to a swipe up from the bottom side which is annoying considering how many things use a swipe from the side for navigation. I think once I get it working as an actual phone and fully transition away from my oneplus 7 pro I'll get used to it pretty quickly. I just wish there was more options for the full front screen phones that aren't years old, since personally if I'm getting a new phone I want to get an actually new phone lol.
HAHA, I had the same problem switching from a OnePlus to a Pixel. I liked the OnePlus gestures better than Android but am fine with them after getting used to them. Did you ever get AT&T to allow this phone? I also use AT&T and was seriously considering getting this one.

Also - is the 80W charging quick enough (I am used to 120W on a 4600mAh battery, and I am addicted to getting my phone last the whole day on a 15 minute charge).

Never seen any review of a Nubia. I even don't know this brand. Thanks for opening my view 😃
You started the review very positively, but than you came to the software. That is a problem for me. You can have hardware that is top, but if the software is not fine, that is a dealbreaker.
My pleasure 😊
will this phone work in USA?
That's a good looking phone
The garbage selfie cam is a pro for some people (ugly people who need a beauty filter).

No SD Card = No Deal ❌
lol! enjoy your Sony or budget phone
@@AverageDadOfficial because of that shortcoming I'm currently considering a wild combo since I can't entrust my generated data to a phone which doesn't have an SD card to backup into:
1 - RedMagic 9 Pro for all my Android Gaming needs 🎮
2 - Redmi Note 13 Pro with 200mpx camera and SD Card as a daily driver 📱
haptics are for furries
