OMG, OMG, OMG! You’re having a go at the Gingery shaper! I hope you will use the Gingery lathe a lot in this project. So many youtube Gingery lathe build series end and we see very little of the completed lathe in action. Hopefully you are going to break new ground for us!
Not sure if I ever commended you on recording at loud enough volume. I often listen to your videos for the first time while working in a shop with background noise. Then I actually watch after work. It’s good to be able to hear it that first go through. Thanks for that.
TBH, the volume never really worries me that much (although I do try and talk loudly.) When editing, the most work I put into volume is lowering the gain for horrendously loud stuff like the beltsander.
I'm just picking on the specific wording you chose, "If I was Chirpy, I would have a Magic hole making tool." Proceeds to pull out a drillbit! Lol gave me a laugh. I know you meant the larger hole, but still!
All right Mr Allen, I've got my thinking spot chair and ready to follow along this project too. 😀
I hope Chirpy of Chirpy’s Tinkerings gets a kick out of your shoutout. His is another of my favourite casting and machining channels I subscribe to.

And, Boom! on to the shaper. Your commitment is impressive.
I've been trying to do a vid each week...
I have similar pyramids, I never considered flipping them on their side that that. That's brilliant!
I was scratching my head how to get that part to sit on them, until that occurred to me :)
@@HaveAGoAlan smart!

Yes go mi bro u can do it
I like your groovy shellac stands. Did you 3D print those yourself?
Yep, cranked them out on the Ender 3. "Paint pyramids" are pretty common STL patterns on thingiverse and the like.
