You mentioned that this took 8 months of work in a comment. I think it's not about the time it takes, it's about what you've learned during the process. Stable operation of a handmade jet engine for more than 8 minutes deserves congratulations. Very well done!
@@Novus_Ordo_Conditorthats True, however i used only the housing of the Gas Tank, this engine runs in the Video with Diesel, it probably runs also with Kerosin, Motor oil or even Vegetable oil, have a Look at my Last Short 🤙💯
This is incredible work, I can't imagine the machining necessary to get that turbine perfectly balanced and to make it out of a good enough material to not melt for the whole run. How much thrust do you think it makes if you had to guess?
@@tacticalidiot175 thanks a lot my friend, it was by far the hardest project i have ever done, your comment means a lot to me. I didnt measured the thrust, but i think its between 3 and 6 KG, the turbine itself weighs 1 kilogram , so its pretty powerful

FD3-64 i have the plans to. Its quit an outdated disign. Thats why I never thaught anybody would dare to take that challenge. Congrats sir. Well done.
A legendary story where a gas tank turns into a gas turbine
@@Novus_Ordo_Conditor 🤣🤣 very sustainable right?
@@mola2646 gas tanks can withstand incredibly high pressure and temperatures, I didn't have sarcasm

You're now qualified to work for Boeing
Actually he’d be better off going it alone! He’s producing turbines that work!
I'd say he may be overqualified at this point...
This is crazy cool and mad impressive!
@@Sub_Zero_47 thanks Bro it was a lot of work
bro is fucking menace. Just casually home made 1800-20000$ engine like noting.
@@erdenebayar8723 it wasnt like nothing it was very hard Bro, since it needs Extreme high precision but thanks 🫡
Judging by the flames coming out the front, you might be getting compressor stall?

Kann ich ihnen eine gutes Start geben für ihre Turbine ist so gut
isnt this a jet engine? whats the difference between the two

the turbine wheel handmade or ready-made?

How did you achieve the balance portion of the build?
What exactly do you mean? Balance to have no vibration?
