Good job, cleaning your drivetrain is a must, because you can get a stiff or claggy chain that can cause a “hook up “ next thing you know you rear derailleur has got caught up in the back wheel 😱

I reckon its the same stuff that car detailers use to clean wheels. @45 a bottle.. go get the car equivalent for less.
Which specific product do you think it is the equivalent of? Or do they all do the colour change thing ?
Iron x or iron remover ^

Try a little skoosh of brake cleaner for that extra sparkle
There are some safety warnings on the bottle. I'm not sure that you should wash that stuff out in the opens.
It's a scam : "0ughta" be denouncing to authority !
It said acid free pH balanced solution bro
This is why I use simple green 👍🏽
I never see anyone oil thier brake leavers.
You deffinatly should!
i do probaly not as often as i should it when i change cables
So im really enjoying the music, thanks great vid!
Add some scrubbing, avoid spraying all over the brake rotors and be careful with too much water pressure (bearings).
It looked like he was using a brake+drivetrain degreaser, so I think it's safe to do so. But it is generally safer to keep in mind where you spray.
Bro.. your brakes are done now😅
not really no.. he just used a soap not an oil
@@marklorencate656 It's not soap, it's a degreaser which can make the rotor go bad when having contact with the degreaser on it
“He just used soap” that then mixed with the oil from the gears then sprayed away all over the disks 😂
@@TheSpragg1- Degreaser 👍

Spraying grease remover on your disc brake! Not too clever.
The stuff he used is a brake cleaner too. any acid based degreaser won't harm a brake system, but mineral based will.

Man pressure washing that off is a really bad idea. You can literally just hose it does to reduce the possibility of pushing some muck into the freewheel hub.
that was just a hose sprayer not pressure washer

@@thenicoalfonsodrivetrain cleaner is a degreaser, completely different to brake cleaner. Degreaser leaves an oily residue behind, brake cleaner doesn’t.
Do you need to add grease/lubricant afterwards or no?
You need to use a normal detergent wash to remove the degreaser, then dry and lube.
No one's gonna point out the sram chain but shimano groupset?! It's not 'incorrect' but it's unacceptable on so many levels

What about KMC groupset?
Don’t worry man I know what you mean 😭
